Hi Everyone; I have finally migrated to P3D now that PMDG has joined in, however I am having extremely poor performance in P3D using the NGX and 777 with addon airports (FSDT, LatinVFR, FlyTampa, FlightBeam) I am also running REX texture direct 4 with soft clouds and ASN. When I mean poor I mean that when Flying in a 3rd party airport using a 3rd party airplane with REX and ASN I'm getting around 8,10,12 FPS. I have tried playing with the P3D settings, HDR, Volumetric Fog, Shadows etc... with no luck. My System specs are the following: Mac Pro (Cylinder)- Windows 8.1 Pro (x64) running natively using BootCamp. 3.5GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 16GB 1866MHz DDR3 ECC - 4X4GB 1TB PCIe-based Flash Storage Dual AMD FirePro D700-6GB VRAM (Crossfire X is enabled on the ATI FIREPRO CC, I have also tried unchecking it with no performance change) Prepar3D Settings: REX 4 Texture Direct with soft clouds settings: In-Sim Pictures:

Hello, I recently purchased a new Mac Pro, I use bootcamp to run Windows and FSX (Natively). Can any one suggest FSX as well as ATI CC settings to have my FSX running smoothly. My Spec's are: Mac Pro (Cylinder) 6-Core Intel Xeon E5, 16gb ram, 1tb SSD, Dual AMD D700 graphics (6144mb) Add-On Sceneries: FsDream Team FlyTampa Flightbeam Taxi2gate LatinVFR Weather Add-On's REX Texture Direct 4 ASNext PMDG: NGX-777 Aerosoft: Airbus Extended, Twin Otter Majestic: Q400 Carenado: CaravanEX Qualitywings: BAe and 757 I run in the background a service called texture max load, that forces FSX to use 4096. Hello everyone, I recently aquired a new iMac and I would kindly ask for your help in tunning it with the best settings for a smooth FSX performance. (I know it's not the best for FSX but this is all I have, I'm Running windows 7 natively on a bootcamp partition). I tune in both nav radios to 109.10 and both course knobs to 053, the ariplane does fly the ILS into runway 05R (MMMX) correctly, however the issue remains that I can't select the ILS approach in the FMC. Before upgrading to AIRAC 1206 and 1207 it did show up. Can anybody upload for me the MMMX file located in the PMDG/SIDSTAR folder. Thanks

Hi everyone, I'm having problems with my NGX. I updated to the latest AIRAC 1207 from navigraph and now the FMC is not showing me any ILS approaches into MMMX (Mexico City) it displays the runways, SID's and Stars but no approaches. Any Ideas ? Is there a way to clear the messages in the EICAS display?For example I had a yaw damper failure that was initiatied by activating the yaw damper switch before the IRS alignment, the EICAS now displays "NO LAND 3"I read that this can be cleared by reseting the Flight Controls B, but I've had no success by doing this.Thank YouSincerelyJesus H

This is what I did to make it work: I went to my FSX Root Folder then --> SOUND --> PMDG --> NGX -->VARIOUS I renamed the PMDG_737_LoChime to PMDG_737_LoChime.bak I created a duplicate of the PMDG_737_HiLoChime and renamed it to PMDG_737_LoChime.bak Voila !!! Now when you move the seatbealt sign or chime switch you get the "Ding Dong" sound. "The attendant and ground button sounds remain unchanged" RegardsJesus Hernandez

Hello; I have a couple questions regarding the bleeds off takeoff procedure. I've seen it in real life here in Mexico City when the plane is heavy, we suffer from hot temperatures and high airport elevation (7320 ft aprox). How do you determine if a bleeds off is required and what is achieved out of this ? Is this simulated in our PMDG aircraft ? Could some one be kind enough to provide the procedure for this... Hello I'm having trouble getting the v speeds to appear on the PFD. The IRS is aligned and I have loaded the route with departure and arrival runways along with their procedures. I have also filled up the INIT page along with the take off page, I see the v speeds on the FMC and confirm them however they fail to appear on the PFD. (It says no v speeds) Any Thoughts ?
