What exactly is the FS2Crew start crew?Just to explain:If I run AES, I let boarding simulate trough AES, let AES do the pushbackBut where exactly is the point when I start to communicate with FS2Crew again or what exactly do I have to skip at FS2Crew?Can I say thanks for the load sheet or do I have to skip that?I'm not sure what triggers what.Maybe you can give a detailed FS2Crew/AES instruction?GreetingsHenni

Thank you Floyd,good to know that you must be in LNAV mode.I was on vectors, so HDG mode was selected. Maybe that's why there was no PPOS option at the HOLD page. Must check that!Any hints for the procedure turn for me?GreetingsHenni

... but who or what should the ACARS communicate with?Of course it would be nice to have this feature, but I really don't know how communication should work.You probably could use it online on VATSIM to communicate with others using PICv2, too, but which "permanent" information should it read? Funny,had this fs9-CTD when turning on TCAS a few days ago.What I found out and cured my problem:Deleting/Uninstalling or installing some other add-ons obviously deleted the trafficInfo.dll in the fs9modules folder.I restored it by copying it back from the panel SDK which includes the file.That completely cured my problem!GreetingsHenni

... but be aware of the fact that changing the FS9 default flight may affect other add-ons!Sometimes they won't work at all!I use the situation file and I've done my own situation files!Another way would be to load the default flight (Chessna with engines running) and shut it down as said above. If you then switch to the PMDG it would be cold and dark, too!Henni

Hello pilots,by now I am a proud owner of the boxed version of the 737 NG!All I want to know is, if I have to register my product at PMDG in order to be able to get the 800/900 update for the "special price".I read that you'll be able to buy the 800/900 upgrade for a lower price the first two weeks after release.Since the cd version had neither an online registration nor a serial I wonder how I will be able to proof that I am a PMDG customer and will be able to benefit from the lower price?ThanksHenrik

Sorry guys,did not want to start a competition between add-ons.I think the PMDG support forum is not the right place for that, if I want to do so there are other places!Just wanted to know from some users how deeply the systems are modelled. My conclusions are:1. FMC: The functionallity of the FMC is almost complete2. Systems: The main systems are simulated, although some not as complex as in 767PIC (could I get that a bit more detailed)3. Hello captains,I am planning to buy the CD-Version of the PMDG 737, which will hopefully be out at Jan 15th (read that at aerosoft.de)But before I do so I would like to have a few questions answered:1.)If I buy the CD-Version, will I be able to add the 800/900 upgrade via download or do I have to wait for the CD-release upgrade?BTW What will the 800/900 ugrade add? Any release date known?2.) Does the FMC features missed approach procedures and RNAV appr. mode?3.) How detailed are the systems simulated? (Can work with the abnormal procedures or are the buttons just for the dummy effect?)[i sometimes have the impression using the SSW Airbus (compared with my good old 767PIC]4.)I only have a 56k internet connection, so I want to avoid buying the CD version and one week later to download a 50MB patch, so are there any plans for a future patch, so I should better wait for?ThanksHenrik

What exactly do you mean with anti-ice or what should happen if do not turn them on?As far as I know iceing is a feature of 2004. Try using a default FS2004 plane, create a winter scenario and leave the pitot heat off. It will freeze and your ASI will show zero. The same with add-on planes.But I don't know in how far the wing and engine anti-ice thing is modeled.Henni
