I would say they are L-1011's but its not a great pic. At a push I would say DC-10's. These are easily confused with the MD-11 to the untrained eye!James

I am gatwick base (EGKK). I think you'll find that use of LNAV and VNAV, and when they are engaged is purely down to the airlines. I find that the operating pilot will hand fly on LNAV and N1+Alt as they are cleared by ATC to climb, then after 5 minutes or so they will engage autopilot. Also if you check out this page:http://www.b737.org.uk/fmc.htmYou will see that the 73 doesn't have the same climb dir option as the 76.James

I have just got off a positioning sector and our airlines procedure (this of course may change) is that VNAV is not used until passing about 10,000ft.Before this N1 and level change were used in the climb out and LNAV for the headings.Hope this helps.James

It may also be that the textures are there but just in the wrong format. You may need to get hold of a copy of DXTbmp (search google should be near the top) and convert the texture to the right format.James MacLeod

I am planning an online flight. I want to try and do a round the world flight in the tiger moth. I am planning to do this flight on a number of legs using real world wx and I am going to fly online. I won't be using the online atc like vatsim but if there is anyone who wants to join me then I will be on a teamspeak server so everyone flying can communicate.I am currently just planning this and I hope to setup a site with details of leg and display photos. If you are using photoshop the easiest way of all is to use the light effects filter. You will find this in the filters -> Rendering -> Lighting effects. Play around with those and that should fix you right up for lights.If you don't want any light on the just turn off the light in the options and you should get a dark mask. Hope this helpsJames

You may want to check out your active processes. Use Crtl + Alt + Delete and then check the active processes. I was experiencing the same problems as you but I have no custon AFCAD or add-on scenery. The problem was with a process LSASS.exe running. This is part of the many Sasser Worm Versions flooding the internet. You will need to get the removal tool from the symantec website (the tool is free).I am not saying this is the solution just throwing out there as a possibility.James

Hey, Just read the post about the continuation of the expres lne of aircraft. I personally love the B1900D, but something I would love to see would be the Embraer 170. I saw a few previews over at Flight Factory Simulations months ago, but they are denying any such project. This aircraft is going to fill a big whole in the market, and there is a huge interest from many european airlines and in the US. The option of the 175 and 190/195 series is also a big bonus.Ok thats my sales pitch done, I'm sure whatever you release I will go reaching for my credit card cos they are so damn good!!!ClodakaJames MacLeod

I am a great fan of the PMDG products, I would love to see a b777 but I don't think they could sell it very well with the meljet model compeating. The you say the 747 - well they are already working on it!! Then you have the airbus'. A310 or A300 maybe a little too difficult to sell, I don't know. A318/19/20/21 well there are plenty of freeware and payware variants I can think of PSS being a very good package. maybe a little dated. A330/A340 well you have PSS payware options and posky freeware options as well. A380 Love to see a good version of this. It is already being built you just have to see the photos on airliners.net to realise how quickly its going together!! I can only think of the Camsim model, but that is now version 9 and built from fs2000!!!!I also see the pmdg express as a seperate team, so I would love them to work on the new generation of embraer aircraft. The 170/175/190/195 would be a breath of fresh air from the usual boeing/airbus rivalry!so my choises:A380 and the Embraer 170Clod
