To celebrate the release of the NGX I have just bought myself these two program. I am not very clever with these things but I have almost succeeded in getting the two programs working together. I just have one problem. My mouse pans the cockpit when moved. I know it shouldn't do this but I don't know how to stop it. Maybe I should be asking in other forums but I thought I would try this one first. Thanks. Bill Miller

Thanks for the advice. I have it working now. You don't seem to be able to turn fsx atc off, but as you say, you can turn the voice down to 0. One other thing is that the ATC frequencies used by RC for EGSS, for example, are not entirely accurate. Where does RC get these frequencies from and can I update them other than before each flight?ThanksBill

Hi,I am using RCv4.3 with UT2 and I am a bit confused about ATC. I have FSX ATC turned off in settings but I seem to have two ATC voices running simultaneously, one clearly is RC but the other sounds more like FSX.So my question is, will RC ATC interact with all AI planes created by UT2 at the airport I am located, ie. If I tune to tower frequency or approach or ground, I will hear RC ATC talking to UT2 AI planes. I can hear interaction but it doesn't sound like RC ATC and I wondered whether it is, in fact, FSX ATC.Many thanksBill

I have installed your fix for the British voice set and it seems to have solved my problem with the after-start checklist. In relation to the sound display for the FA, I have the default windows font in windows 7. I can confirm that it is a display issue only and I can change the volume fine.I just want to mention two other issues, one small and one large:Small - I did mention in my last post that I would like to know if there is a way to increase the volume of the FO as sometimes I cannot hear him well with all the other sounds in the cockpit.Large - I have twice experienced the FO turning the Altitude up to maximum when asked to Bug Altitude to a certain level. This also happened when I asked him to set vertical speed. He set it to maximum and I couldn't manually turn it back as he kept returning it to maximum. After this, the FO wouldn't respond to any further commands notwithstanding that the green bar indicated he was hearing them correctly. I had to save and reload the flight in order to stop his uncommanded action.Sorry to bring these issues up as it really is a great bit of kit.Bill

I am sure the answers are in the AOM if I look hard enough but in case anyone is feeling charitable:1. What does the APR arm switch do?2. When should one use prop sync and is it's effects modelled?3. When would you use the fuel enrich switch?Thats all for now.Thanks

Hi,I have two problems which someone might be able to help me with:1. The spoilers won't activate on landing, even thought they are armed and reverse thrust is activated.2. When inputting 'departure' data into the FMS, I can't seem to input a runway without also having to input a SID. Is this correct?Thanks

I have the JS41 and the MD11 installed for FSX and windows 7. With the MD11 I get 24fps at the gate but with the JS41, I only get 14 fps, with all things equal.Any particular reason for this or is it just a peculiarity of my computer set-up.ThanksRenzo
