Reason I asked, is there were no files in the Navdata folder. So I copied the ones I had from PMDG to the OpusFSX Navdata. Right or Wrong? I'm not the brightest bulb in the marque when it comes to this stuff.

I noticed a navigraph file in the root of the OPUSFSX file, bur it is empty. Are we supposed to download a navigraph file???????????

Ryan, could you be a little more precise as to how exactly I clear the cache please.

The lights a little dim right now, how do I refresh the cache?

What's up with the PMDG home page?????? For the last couple of days, every time I go there, I get a notice that my internet has stopped working, when in fact it hasn't.

There were no files at all in there.

Like Scandinavian13 said, but I make sure the rpms drop to below 50 and then I put the props in reverse and take them out before 10. Since doing that, I have never had a problem.

I was having the same issue with my CH pro pedals, until I moved the EHSI and EADI refresh rates to 50%, and haven't had a problem since.

Has anyone done a complete instructional video or transcript (step by step) on how to install FS9 & X on windows 7 with trouble shooting for install problems? Checking out all the various forums, to include this one, leads one to believe it's going to be a hair puller, nail biting, primal scream sort of thing.Sorry about the title, it should read "Install FS9 & X into windows 7".

Another easy way, is to calibrate the throttles using FSUIPC with no reverse zone and then assigning a button on the throttle for F2. As soon as you click on the buttons, go to the center console view and wait until the rpm drops below 50, hit the reverse button and hold it down until about 10 and then hit the F1 button. I have been doing this since I bought it, and have never had a problem.

That could be the answer, because looking back on my pireps, I have been landing below my Vref, and I just did another flight, and the spoilers did activate, because I was just below vref. Thanks guys. Kurt, I'll recalibrate just in case. :(

Kurt, It's a brand new downloaded aircraft and it comes with SP1 already. The thing about it is, it has worked before, but the last three flights haven't resulted in the spoilers activating on reverse. :(

Once I land, and reverse props, the spoilers aren't deploying. Before anyone asks, yes I have the spoilers switch turned on. Anyone else having this issue. :(

Anyone have the problem with the looped sound after shut down (I think it is Jet131.wav)? The sound just keeps on playing, like I said after shut down. :(

Richard, The thing I recommend is go to the PMDG site and make out a trouble ticket. Those guys were great in the help they gave, especiallly about the default flight load, and I haven't had any problems since.

Richard, Do you have the ultralight aircraft as the default flight when FSX starts up? I have been working with the PMDG team about this and the problem could be the default aircraft. Make sure the ultralight default flight is loaded when starting FSX and then start the default flight, once it is loaded, then load your saved J41 flight and see if this has any affect.

Tried the tutorial again this afternoon, and the FMS would not turn on as usual. This is really starting to get on my nerves. :(
