It appears that they start all coach seating from row 28 in all aircraft types. Not sure what advantage that has. BrianKRNT

There's an online version here:http://www.eurocontrol.int/icaoref/icao_85...tors_browse.jspBrianKRNT

If I remember right the runway listing includes 16C and 34C but the approaches still refer to 16R and 34L. Once you change the runway in each procedure you should be ok, although the default ATC will still use the old runway identifiers.BrianKRNT

It looks like it's transporting you to KSAN for some reason. It also looks like your first waypoint is MELDY which is a terminal fix in that area. I'm new to Radar Contact but could it be a flightplan problem?Brian

UAL uses the 777 on the KSFO to KDEN route as well as KDEN to KORD.I think AAL also has a few short hops like KORD to KDFW.Edit: For US flights you can look here:http://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/B...ed_ete;sort=ASCIt's sorted by flight duration from shortest to longest.Brian

Recomendation of a 172RC to prep for FAA review
BrianW replied to crvm's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
>From what I've heard, the 172RG is a dog. Cessna called it>the "Cutlass" but pilots call it the "Gutless." It suffers from a lower useful load because of the extra weight of the landing gear system but I wouldn't call it a dog. On a XC flight with two people I'd take it over a fixed gear 172 any day. One of the best things about this plane it it's elevator balance during landing. It's a challenge to not have a greaser.I'd say the closest plane in 2k4 would be the 182RG from Carenado.Brian -

It's called a Coffman Starter and I'm pretty sure it's used in place of an electric starter.See here:http://www.sjvls.org/bens/bf010cs.htmBrian

>>Good friends or not, MS knows that Airbus is outselling Boeing>around the world. Sorry but not true for 2005. It's true that Airbus did sell more A320's than Boeing did 737's. But total orders were higher for Boeing last year.None the less, I would like to see an Airbus included as a default aircraft. I just hope the systems are more detailed in the default planes this time around.Brian

Exactly like Steve said, the longer the Pre-Share key the better off you are. Other things you can do is turn the transmit power down to only what you need for coverage, as well as not broadcasting the SSID in the beacon. This will limit your network from showing up on the available networks list in XP. This will at least make you a little smaller target even though a good sniffer like AirMagnet will still see your AP. As far as wireless stability is concerned you may want to download Network Stumbler a a similar wireless sniffer to see what's already out there and the channels and signal strength. Keep in mind that 802.11b/g only has three channels that don't overlap so you'll want to select a channel that's as far apart from what's already out there, although the auto channel select works just fine most of the time. To support WPA with windows XP you need to make sure SP2 is installed and that the wireless card's drivers are up to date.Brian

John is correct. The later models use 10 degrees of flaps for short field takeoffs. 56 KIAS and flaps 10 should be mantained until obstacles are cleared then you would accelerate to Vx (60 KIAS for a 172P) and then retract flaps. If the max climb gradient isn't required then you would continue to accelerate to Vy or to a cruise climb. Brian

Home of the baby Boeings

I would love for somebody to do my home airport for FS. I can get all the shots you need. any takers?Brian -
The best thing about the link Ryan provided is that these can be used for real world ops. Nice for flying outside your typical coverage area. Works better for me for cockpit organization too. You may also want to try http://164.214.2.62/products/digitalaero/index.html for airports outside the US, although it's far from complete.Brian

Does Level D worry you?
BrianW replied to Chris Willis BAW976's topic in The Level D 767 | Wilco PIC 767 Forum
You'll want to pick your 67 up at Paine Field (KPAE) or Boeing Field (KBFI). Renton only handles 737's. Paine Field in is where the 747,767 and 777 are built. Most delivery flights originate from Boeing Field once post production test flights are made.Brian -
