Hello, I have the joystick hooked up via usb, I have L3vetron usb headphones, a Logitech wireless mouse, and speakers plugged into my sound card. There is also a wireless connection to my HP all in one printer.

I reassigned the FS2Crew main button as letter H, I did make sure to delete any other use of the letter in the FS9 key assignment menu. I also did not assign a joystick button. I still have the same problem :wacko:

I spent most of the day working on this with no luck. First I deleted all key assignments in FS9 (reset to default), then created a new x52 profile with no commands except for AES and the ` key for Radar Contact. No luck, still had the same problem- when I ask for flaps after engine start I get full flaps. Next I deleted the FSUPIC (?) and downloaded a new file , same problem. Lastly, I deleted the fs9.cfg and in the end I still get full flaps. What a strange problem- nothing else seems to be effected by this except fsCrew and the ifly 737 when I ask for a flap change either up or down (both button and voice). What is the "x" key suppose to do in FS9? you did suggest that I press that key instead of using the joystick, when I press x I get a different "view" sometimes I "see" another area of the airport, or the zoom level in fs9 changes.- that seems very strange to me, any ideas? Please don't give up on me this has to be fixable (that is a new verb) Thank you, R Jones

Thank you for the suggestion, I am going to delete all of the key settings both in FS9 and on my Saitek X52 joystick. I like the idea of the FSUPIC as well- this problem is very strange because it only seems to effect the FS Crew iFly. I'll keep you posted.

Good morning, As of this morning I still have not been able to solve this problem. I recently reinstalled my Level D and am able to use the FS Crew voice with that airplane with no problem I have been using the button version for the iFly by not asking for the flap settings from fs crew. I just do the flaps manually. However with my success with the voice for the Level D I went ahead and bought the voice version for the iFly as well. I still have the same problem, whenever I ask for any thing to do with the flaps fs Crew always selects full flaps. This is weather I ask for flaps up or down. I have tried to read the forms and follow the advice with no luck. I am certain that the problem is somewhere in my FS9 set up but I have no idea how to fix it. Any help or ideas? Thank you, R Jones

Mike, thank you for all of your help. I have a few days at home and was just tinkering with fs9 when I stumbled across this thread. I will look into your advise. That sure does not seem right that Black Box is still selling product that there is no support for. Thanks again, Ryan I did a search and I do have the voroni.dat file in my main FS9 folder? Thank you for the reply, I did go to Black Box sim but they have not responded. I am afraid that they are also gone. Did look at just flight as well but I don't think I am going to pay another 30 dollars for something that is almost 10 years old. thanks again. R Jones

Hello, a little off topic but, I have (own) the PSS 777 but can not install it because there is no web site for the program to verify my data. Does anyone know what I can do? thank you- I would like to try out these textures. R Jones

Hello, I have been using FSCrew iFly since about day one, the problem is very recent. I will try checking the assignments and also use the keyboard buttons to call for flaps. Thank you for the suggestion.

Hello Brian, I am using the button control version. The full flaps happens (in the air) both when I ask for flaps 1(from flap 5) after take off and also when I ask for flaps 5 on approach. In both cased the flaps go to the full flap setting. I will check to make sure that the cold weather procedures are not selected on the briefing page. ( I have checked and the cold weather procedures are not on) I am hoping that it is something simple. Thank you

Hello, I have been having a similar problem. When I ask for flap 5, I get flap 40. I have checked the settings for flaps. I did change the settings in the FS9 configuration settings to see if that would help the problem, thinking that FS Crew was using flaps full for single flap setting, but I still have the same result. I am able to use my joystick to select one flap setting at a time and then I just use my mouse to click past the flap settings in FS Crew. What could be wrong? I have deleted FS Crew and reinstalled the program but I still have the same problem. I did see you question above, the only change that I can think of is that I set up a switch on my joystick using FSCUIP (?) to control my speed brake. Thank you for any Ideas. R Jones

Thank you mole man, That is the program that I use as well to look for duplicate files. I think that I have fixed my problem, I made the Sitka bgl file inactive and now I have the Tongass Fjord airport only. However FS9 now sees the runway as dirt, the tires of the AC throw up rooster tails,Thanks again.

I need help fixing my PASI airport using Tongass Fjords. To me it looks like there are two different airports loading. I have tried deleating double AFCAD files but there is only one that I can find. I have also changed the scenery position but with no luck. Finally I did try to post this problem in the Misty Fjords form but it seems to be locked as of a few years ago. Any suggestions?

I also just started having a problem with my FS9 program not running. I have been following this topic and have tried the two suggestions but with no success. My problem is a little different. When I try to run FS9, either "normally" or as an administrator I have the same results. First I get the normal "splash screen", this screen will even show that FS9 is configuring files if I have made changes using something like AES or REX. After a while the splash screen will go away and it appears that the program is getting ready to run, my screen goes black like it always does just before the main FS9 interface appears, but I do have a mouse that moves, and then after a few minutes FS9 just stops and I am back on my normal desktop.Any suggestions, I have already tried removing the cfg file and the other two suggestions on this thread.Thank you in advance.R Jones

Good morning,I also have this srtange sound issue. Some files do seem to change their volume mid sentence. My system is Vista 64, Home premium, service pack 2. Core 2 Cpu, 2.4 GHz, RAM 6 gb.I did look for the communication area in my control pannel but could not find it.R Jones

Hello,This is not an issue but I thought I would piggyback on the shutdown post. I use ASE and can not figure out how to get FSCrew to wait to open the doors until my gate has docked with the airplane. Thank you for getting me to think. My FS Nav Bin folder was empty so I copied my old information and all seems well now.

I did try to run the data base build but I dont know where to point it for the data.

I am in the process of reinstalling FS9 and I have no "data" for FS Navigator. When I open the program from FS9 using the F9 key the program opens and I seem to have all the parts including the lat and long lines but there is no other information. Does anyone have any idea what I have done wrong and how I can fix this problem?Thank you,R Jones

Thank you,It seems to be working. To me, though, it is very strange. When I turn off the "voice" button I can her the sounds from my mike but when I turn the "voice" on I can not hear the sounds, but FS Crew is responding.For now I am happy that everything is working.R Jones

Hello,I have a problem that I can not figure out. Before I start fs9 I can hear my self through my mike, sounds like breathing and talking. However, when I fire up FS9 and load either the 737 or 767 I can no longer hear sounds from my mike. I still have sounds through the earphones by nothing from my mike. Whene I go and look at my sound settings Vista 64 shows sounds comming through my mike. As of now I can not interact with the voice controls of FS Crew. Any ideas?Thank you,R Jones
