This time it was an Air France PMDG 777LR which failed to follow the VNAV path.. Her as a RNAV. Just to recap. I updated the P3D to 4.4 byt following to Prepar3D forum instruction which says that i download everything and delete client. And install new client, this goes for content and scenery subsequently. I have downloaded all the files and done the client, content and scenery update.. with this instruction: Updating Prepar3D using the Update Component Installers From the forum as downscc suggested to look for info on. And assuming this link https://www.prepar3d.com/Prepar3D_Download_and_Install_Instructions_v4.pdf Incorrect for doing the same update when regards to the But what about the cont2.cab and the scene7.cab files. There seems to be a problem updating from 4,3 to 4,4 and Aerosoft suggest a full reinstall. Aerosoft Forum CRJ now in trouble after update Same goes for my experience with pmdg 737 v 4,4 does not seem to work correctly... Is this also your experience.. does full reinstall solve the problem? Yes it's a wonderful plane.. And my Goodness - what a storm they have in Moscow this monday 24'th september evening... And Wauw how the plane reacted to this. ... [political comments removed] ... Then starting from UUEE.. and what a climb while everything was shaking and rattling... Awesome... And the sound.. Angel music. When you start op the engines.. when the spool up the suddenly the force in the sound expands.. wauw.. I have changed the external APU sound..Too vague I think. Yes- I have also GSX level 2 also. I didn't have the friday update. I really miss that some creates very intensive scanning systems of P3D.. Because it would be a help to everyone. There must be a scanning utility that can describe the crashing processes deeply, so it would be very easy to see whats wrong. I must be able to be done, and it would be benefitting for all... imagine how much effort and man power that all use eg. PMDG to detect, and explain all these things. P3D should make this... many could benefitting to make this scanner. Thank you. And PMDG.... congratulations with the 747-8..💖 Jens

My problem is the CTD when I pause, external view, VC then engines sound doesn't resume and CTD occurs... Or put in another way when I change between view, or pause, the sound doesnt reach to resume before CTD. This flight was the 747-400. I experienced this on PMDG 747/777.. Now 4 flights like this. Will P3D v4 PMDG 737 not work on some sceneries like this post describe? Because I have something similar... And I am investigating if this is a more well spread phenomenon. My post on Aerosoft on suspicion on the Gibraltar Professional for P3D v4 Have any experienced that the 737 have issues with some sceneries? I know that pmdg 747 don't like Radar Contact and CTD that program because of a simconnect conflict that has not yet been corrected, as I understood. All the best Jens

I have now given in and reinstalled, updated all files connected to run P3D. That is .net Framework etc. Updated BIOS and drivers. I have purified the sceneries meaning only P3d V4 sceneries installed. And if with patch, a v4 patch. No freeware not recommended for v4. I have skipded MyTraffic and gone to UTlive. And installed Henrik Nielsen AI ships. I have only a fraction of the sceneries installed just now, and install them -some at the time - so I hopefully catch the problematic ones. ITS WORKING after a 1/2 year in the hangar. I have Envtex envshade, active sky and the ASCA, a lot of ORBX, pilots mesh sceneries, fsuipc, radar contact, I have a suspicion for REX HD airport sceneries WHICH WAS NOT FOR V4 that version I had installed. On the .NET Framework Setup Verification Tool This is written on the Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319 Is this helpful for anyone to see what the problem with .NET\Framework\v4.0.30319 p3d ctd is? Steffen.. No I dont have.. On LM Thread I wrote this..: I am not used to gang thug attitude loyalty training. This should not be about violence.. I am seriously trying to sort this out.. and LM should focus on this an not fall to such things. I dont hope I am going to start support at developers on all my P3D v4 add-ons and forum debates about unproportional oversensitive defensive interpretation of attempts at dialogue. Now suddenly LM are creating drama, and it's incredible. Yes and for many it s not working.. Now trying this one.. But this turned out that my mscoree.dll are newer than my .Net Framework 2 or 3. And this one.. This did not help, because I have a newer version of .NET framework than the V.4.0.30319 and the installer will not install this version. Now this turns out to be interesting.. Hi Jim Thank you for your answer. And Jim ,soo much appreciate your help -Thank you again. I have changed the dll.xml as you said. And used repair tools that only changed windows installers.. But have given up on "searching for the needle in the hay stack" the crashing scenery, because the experience by Sebastian. But at this point you could say this is my responsibility that I don't find the obstructing program. But on on the prepar3d thread which I have linked earlier e.g. Sebastian have done everything LM asked him to do. He even reinstalled Windows. He really did everything. And from there we learned that it is a problem in P3D or a conflict in Windows to P3D. On top of this LM have not given him the support or tried to help him. They could say: "Stop struggling we know the problem, wait wait! . we sort it out." It's just depressing and that level of attitude and this example has exhausted me. Sebastian is very disappointed about LM. I have have been in this for 17 years and LM have enormous resources. I wonder? Today Microsoft came with the update to the win 10 error, I have win 7 64 bit and p3d v41 haven't been working for 3 week and nothing about the .NET framework error. I have suggested LM to make scanning tools to sort out .cfg files and dll entries and all sorts of entries. I think maybe I am in a wake up process to move to X-plane. Regards Jens

A move towards X plane Today I had the same .NET Framework errors ... After doing the best, all these gentlemen in the forums had suggest to the best of my ability. But as Sebastian among others have stated.. Even if you install everything, even windows from scratch the problem is still there. So the hypothesis of it being a LM Windows conflict is still standing. Like the others in this thread and the fact I have been a loyal simmer to Microsoft Flightsimulator since.... 2000 That's 17 years gentlemen.. I am fed up. This ongoing game of CTD-work in finding out what's going on.. Thank you. I have the registered version of fsuipc5. Why didn't p3d do its job of filling up the dll.xml and only write sporadic? Should I delete the dll's, are they necessary in p3d v4? Especially when p3d can't seem to write the dll's. Jim Young, I understood that reinstall of scenery would rewrite dll.xml. Soo should I reinstall all scenery and aircraft for the dll writing? I really wonder what all this i about. Gentlemen if could get you to look at this thread and see how hopeless the .NET errors is to fellow simmers.
