  1. I also had this problem. It was caused by a programmed button with "Gear Up" used with the CH Joke and FSUIPChttp://forum.avsim.net/topic/353764-the-ch-fsuipc-sp1-idle-bug/page__p__2176958#entry2176958
  2. Red Sky Ventures Free Aviation Downloads...more or less...
  3. ... http://www.b737studyguide.com/For me this study guide makes it easier to understand the systems electric, fuel etc and also all the buttons, lights etc of the cockpit.
  4. I think it's not a real problem. As "GEAR UP" I use the FSX "G" with the CH button. I also tried the Joystick Calibration without any problems.
  5. Then it was a misinterpretation...http://forum.avsim.n...37#entry2172837
  6. As Ryan Maziarz said this bug will be fixed with the SP1b.
  7. Yes, ok. I have made the opposite experience, without SP1 I had no problems...
  8. Sorry, you are not right. If you like, try it by yourself and you will experience the same as me. Try it with the tutorial flight 1, with VNAV and LNAV, and you will see that the N1 will jump from 34.9 to 40% at about FL150 and that you can reach 3000 ft only with the excessive use of the speedbrakes and with gear down. Condition: you use the CH Yoke and there one button assigned to "Gear Up" using FSUIPC and you used this button after takeoff. If you don't use this "Gear Up" button you can descend without any problems!
  9. In my case, I have to use the "gear up" button of my CH Yoke after takeoff to make the bug happen later during the descent. If I don't use this button, e.g. I use the "G" then the slow down is as it should be...
  10. This video shows how professionals act in a cockpit. For me it was so impressiv that I am totally confused now!
  11. May be you are right, I think so, but I have experienced only this bug after SP1, not before and under the described conditions:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/353764-the-ch-fsuipc-sp1-idle-bug/
  12. If you observe too fast descents and you have often to use the speedbrakes - it may be caused by this "SP1 IDLE BUG". The conditions are:- CH yoke- FSUIPC- and you assigned one button "Gear UP"In this case the N1 suddenly increases at 15500ft from 34.9% to 40%. And that leads to an increase of speed forcing the considerable use of the speedbrakes or you will overshoot.BTW. there is no problem with assigning the axises and it doesn't matter which button is used. Assigning one button to "Gear Up" and using this button after takeoff leads much later during the descent to the N1 jump! So, don't do that until the bug is repaired. Use the "G"!I hope that the images will illustrate what I mean.
  13. The cause seems to be a conflict between the CH yoke, FSUIPC and SP1. I found out that there are no problems calibrating the rudder or the aileron of the CH yoke with FSUIPC. But assigning the button number 5 to "gear up" it will lead to the discribed trouble. This was the only input which was not pre-assigned as a normal FSX assignment. Have a look to the images.ps. I don't know why the CH button 5 will become the button 4 in the FSUIPC input.
  14. I don't know, but it may be that we have the same or a similar problem:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/353554-is-there-after-sp1-an-idle-bug/page__fromsearch__1
  15. I'm not shure. Believe that PMDG is the proper address to get it fixed. The 737NGX is a unique simulation and I have never had any problems with FSUIPC and other addons...
  16. FSUIPC causes the "bug". I use a registered FSUIPC and that seems to be resonsible for the jump of N1 during the descent at about 15500ft! Then the N1 goes from 34.7 up to 40.0. And this forces to use the speedbrakes nearly all the time. It is an untouched version. What can I do to keep FSUIPC but without the IDLE JUMP?
  17. NO, THERE IS NO BUG!!!I have made a new installation of all: FSX and PMDG 737NGX. And all what I changed was according to the PMDG instructions and the settings of the fsx.cfg. Then I made two test flights. There was no jump of the N1! The slow down was perfect. Without speedbrakes I reached 3000ft with 201kn and 30.3 N1 RPM. One of the following programs must have caused the "bug" - may be!FSX GO - tweakerFlusiFix - tweakerFSUIPCEZdok Camera AddonUltimate Terrain X for EuropeFreeware sceneries of some german airportsIf somebody has the same problem I had may be he has also one of these programs in use. I don't know if and then which of these programs was responsible. The safety way to get rid of it is a new installation!ps. Hello Lee, I made screenshots and wrote the data in an Excel sheet.
  18. Sorry, I don't remember, I will try it tomorrow and then I'll tell you.
  19. Yes I tried it also with level change. In this case here with V/S I would like to have a constant sinkrate of 1000ft in order to see at which altitude the plane will have which speed. As we can see at no altitude it is slower then 241kn - throttles in idle position!
  20. May be - but there are no such problems when I fly without SP1...
  21. Yes, I will do that, but first I would like to get an information, possibly from the guys from PMDG. May be I can keep the SP1 and doing something against this behavior...
