  1. I’ve just ordered a StreamDeck but the 5x3 regular sized one. I have next to no knowledge about programming them but I was looking on Flightsim.to today and noticed there are a few XL profiles (32 button?) about and was wondering if it’s easy to either “downscale” the larger profile or pick and choose the events I want from the larger XL profile and plug them into the smaller SD device?
  2. What kind of performance does one get when taking off on runway 09L at inibuilds Heathrow with Vatsim and AIG in the Fenix? That’s the acid test for me!
  3. Yeah it’s hard to keep track of all these media places! heres’s the link to the post, not sure if you can view it or not. https://www.facebook.com/427573564108449/posts/1895410900658034/?d=n
  4. They posted some more renders towards the end of April on Facebook
  5. Hi @Crabby, @mrm0508 Sorry for fnot getting back to you sooner, I have been away for work. So I use the Sim Event for my tiller axis called STEERING_SET. Its located under the AIRCRAFT MISCELLANEOUS EVENTS section. https://imgur.com/a/Gu2SRXS
  6. I use this code, tried it with a toggle switch and it seems to work OK. 1·(>L:S_FCU_EFIS1_FD,·Number)·(WAIT:100)·0·(>L:S_FCU_EFIS1_FD,·Number)·(WAIT:1000)·1·(>L:S_FCU_EFIS2_FD,·Number)·(WAIT:100)·0·(>L:S_FCU_EFIS2_FD,·Number)
  7. Thanks Oliver, So the LVars to turn on are: 1 (L:S_MIP_AUTOBRAKE_LO) 1 (L:S_MIP_AUTOBRAKE_MID) 1 (L:S_MIP_AUTOBRAKE_MAX) So i guess I would want cycle through all 3 then turn off MAX at the end (so 4 Positions?) before starting at Min again. What is this LVar in your code: L:switch229dir Is that an "internal" LVar or a PMDG one?
  8. Do you use LVars? If so all the LVar CDU buttons are already there and available.
  9. If anyone can help me with a script to cycle through different LVars that would be appreciated. I would like to cycle through the Autobrake settings: LO > MED > MAX > OFF and then back round again etc.
  10. Hey Crabby, I have this working with AAO as for some reason when setting it in the sim, it made the nose wheel go hard left! Did you set the Nosewheel sim event from the !! Flight Control Axis !! list Also double check that the Ped Rudder Disc option is actually selected as those settings don’t seem to be persistently saved. Lastly there is a button on top of the Tiller in sim, press that and see if it works that way…
  11. Here's a link to my scripts. Got a few in there and might save you all some time! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1s0OYu0gSwzKS_SY9P4SRapvjlT4U0NnS?usp=sharing
  12. Use the one that has _EX1 on the end, i got it working through AAO quickly last night.
  13. So a few of us have been asking about simvars and if the new Fenix 320 will be mappable to our hardware. So far these questions have been disconcertingly ignored on the discord, so was wondering here if anyone had any educated assumptions about the inner workings of aircraft and variables in MSFS… Is it possible to have such an environment where mapping can’t be done? The Fenix leverages ProSim some how but I’m not sure how they combine the two into a desktop sim…has any other addon used ProSim before in Xplane or P3D?
  14. Thanks Oliver, got it working
  15. Does anyone have any tips or a script to activate reverse thrust in AAO on a HC Bravo? I’ve tried a repeating throttle decrease command and also reverse throttle hold but it doesn’t seem to do anything…
  16. Thanks very much Andy! Ah ok, I had used the Wheel Up/WheelDown for turning the heading left and right. I was thinking before whether the LeftSwitch and RightSwitch was actually for pushing the knob in and out. I’ll try this when I get back home thank you!
  17. If I can get the right code then I can do some interesting manipulations of it like you have done. It’s wrapped in a <Code> tag but those two don’t have those 4 manipulation lines, eg LeftSwitch, Right Switch, WheelUp etc associated with it (that I can see in the model_interior file) that most of the others do… Unless that’s not the right Lvar…but I can’t see what else it might be.
  18. I've got the hang of this now, its not so bad actually. A bit of mental arithmetic is good for the soul. I'm struggling with the heading and altitude selects though. In the sim you click on them to pull the knob out to arm them. In in the model def file i think its this (similar for alt as well): fgcp_hdg_button1 (L:fgcp_hdg_button1, enum) But there are no mental Lvars associated with it, and plugging that into a script doesn't seem to work eg 1 (>L:fgcp_hdg_button1, enum) Any ideas?
  19. Does anyone have a profile they would be willing to share?
  20. I’ve been tinkering with this as well. Has to be the most mental LVars I’ve come across yet! Why does it have to be so difficult and time consuming! The CRJ was probably the best in terms of layout and naming convention
  21. Anyone working on the DC Designs Concorde, particularly the autopilot? Struggling to make the Altitude and Headin work.. also can't seem to get the Relight switches to animate with the afterburner simvar.
  22. There was nothing scientific or professional about this flight. I hadn’t originally intended to fly that far, was just playing around trying to learn the aircraft. Fully loaded her up, started up and was barely able to make it off the ground in time (probably did clip a few trips and houses 😇) then flew approximately west probably went supersonic over Ireland while simultaneously learning how to program the FMC. About half way across the Atlantic programmed in the north track that enters over the top of Canada and diverted across…as you have probably gathered, I am clueless when it comes to Concorde and Trans Atlantic operations! I’m a A320/737/Dash8 kinda guy!
  23. So managed to muddle my through from C&D to Cruise on my very first trans-atlantic flight ever from EGCC to KJFK. Somehow managed to kill the engines on descent (god-bless Ctrl-E) but finally captured the ILS after about 4 hrs flight time. The thing was beeping at me during approach, didn’t know why until I had a pretty hard landing but had no reverse, braking or rudder control. Odd. About 10 seconds after touchdown it dawned on me why it was beeping…I forgot to lower the landing gear….good times haha. The plane is very fun though. Lots to learn!
  24. I agree totally with this. I hate the statics but I guess some people like them. It should totally be an option. I like Xplane where you can nuke them in WED. There a few devs now that are providing the option to toggle them now but it seems airports that came out early on in MSFS' lifespan had statics baked in and devs now seem unwilling to remove them or unaware that it is possible in MSFS (a few Orbx airports, LVFR etc...) I have posted on some forums and discord channels asking for a toggle and some have said they will do it so I hope they stick to their word. Orbx seem to be the worst, they still drag their feet over it. I think the more of us that raise it with the devs, the more likely we are to get a choice and hopefully a toggle becomes the norm
