  1. Hello, This should work http://deckard.uv.es/index.php?dir=SPAIN_PHOTOSCENERY%2F It is a very good scenery, believe me.
  2. Hello, I don't know but I've never had any problems with any aircraft even the A2A B 377 and the aerosoft Da 20 so I guess it should work. You can try anyway, it will not break anything and the drivers are free.
  3. hello Nice shots. They bring me back good memories of my trip to california. I drove from Moro bay to Monterey on route 1and then up to SF
  4. Hello, As a former aircraft accident investigator, I can tell you that a succesful outcome is irrelevant to the conclusion of an investigation. Generally speaking,(and to make it short) what matters is "Were the flight manual and check lists followed?". If not, the recommendations will definitely stress (once again) that they must be followed. Flight documents are designed by engineers and then flight tested by test pilots to make sure that the aircraft is operated safely even in cases of emergency. Emergency procedures are written to give the highest survival probability. In a cockpit, there is no place, nor time, for improvisation except when the situation is not a standard one. In this rare case the pilot has to come up with the best solution. An engine loss of power is a standard emergency case and addressed in the emergency procedures. I've seen too many accidents where the pilots would still be alive had they had followed the check lists.
  5. I guess this applies to the "where am I" thread too!!
  6. Probably but I couldn't be sure because on the wikipedia page that I checked they give another name (trementina base) and I could not find the name that you gave.
  7. Hello, great. lucky you!! Me too I've already flown on board a B17. But in was an A2A B 17, I guess it doesn't count by your standards B)
  8. hello, You guys are close. NM 53 San Miguel Ranch I was flying from Santa Fe (NM) to Amarillo (TX) when I spotted that secluded airstrip and that strange ground marking. I looked up in skyvector and saw that the owner does not want his airport to be charted. It triggered my curiosity. Further research indicates that the strip belongs to the church of scientology hence the markings, that I didn't know. I landed but Tom Cruise wasn't there. He had just tried to land with his F14 only to realize at the last second that the strip was too short . I had no choice but to console Charlie who was waiting for him  Scenery is Simsavvy. The shot was indeed taken from my basement.
  9. Hello Tip:There is an airstrip in the bottom left corner
  10. Hello, I've been receiving several identical emails from the computer magazine website for over a week about the new licensing of flight. I don't care about their newsletter: I'd rather they send me the computer pilot issues that they owe me.
  11. hello the problem is still present. Do you think that the forum button will be back one day or is it lost forever? THX
  12. Thank you. Like you, my understanding is that this tool is not suited for photoscenery. I knew that folks would tell me" hey dude, try the demo" but I was hoping for a more technical reply such as yours.
  13. hello, I only fly over photoscenery with zero autogen. Do you think that FA can have a positive impact? Thank you
  14. Not really. What matters is what the pilot saw and not what is viewed from the videocamera angle....
  15. Hello, Thank you for your help. I redownloaded the file and this time I found the aircraft file. I may have inadvertently deleted it the previous time. It works now. The model is great but the system modelisation is not as extensive as with the DC3 C.
  16. Hello, The coastlines are not an issue for me. Check the first screenshot in the other MSE england and wales topic that I started a few days ago, It is not that bad if you consider that on one side you have real world aerial photos and on the other side virtual sea textures.
  17. hello, A few more shots from MSE England, around and above Manchester, by popular request...
  18. Ok I will start another topic with the screenshots that I took for engine room only to realize that they were not from the place he had asked for...
  19. Hello, I unzipped the file. It gives 3 folders: effects, simobjects and sound but the aircraft config file is nowhere to be seen and the aircraft does not show in the aircraft menu. Need help THX
  20. You're welcome! Your family home, now that is serendipity! Take care
  21. Hi, I bought it and I like it. It is on par with other MSE products. I've only flown over Wales so far and I've found that the coastline is great and blends well with the rex sea textures.
