  1. flushed everything, restarted everything.. and knowing a little bit of computors, it has got nothing to do with needing to flush anythingbut for what it is worth I still did it and cleaned the cache and all the suggested items plus more..! No access.. So yeah maybe we are now on a fully BANNED status.. classifying us then the same as Pirates... Well Well Well.... very interesting change of events.. I also get the You are not allowed to visit this community
  2. yes there is support. I am also a lucky banned user, but they have still supported me without a problem. -Edit Just seen that the support for limited users has been removed. Well if i bought a product and not receiving support for it, I can basically do what I want with it because if I buy something without support and disrespect for the customer, then basically I can also disrespect their UELA.. very interesting very nice indeed... It do open doors.. but one thing for sure I will not buy another product as long as I dont get support and as long as I dont get support for already purchased products I can do what i want with already purchased products, cant I? BUT... before us get all worked upped. I have seen a day or two ago there is going to be some maintenance being done on the forum, so it also might be due to the maintenance that support fr limited users are being switched OFF. I hope so, otherwise we going to have a really field day from now on into the future..
  3. Bert Pieke once mentioned that he can add a D to a gauge so that on startup D is pressed anyway if you need it or not..!! that way it is always right.. I think it was on a previous release that he once mentioned hat. i dont know if he ever got around to do it.
  4. have you read the instructions.. 1) Download Doug Dawson Battery charger gauge http://www.douglassdawson.ca/ It is called "battery_charger, v1.1.0, April 20, 2012" extract the battery charger download and add the gauge "dsd_battery_charger.dll" to the fsx "Gauges" folder
  5. now available http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxgau&DLID=167855
  6. now available http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxgau&DLID=167853

  8. remember the CDi must be selected for VOR also and it will only be displyed once the system pick up the ILS signal. outside ILS signal distance the glideslope section will completely be removed
  9. I created a GPU to work with P46T and huge thank you to the brilliance of Doug Dawson who created and share the battery charger dll. so no more depleted battery if you dont have FSUIP4, extended battery life setting or unrealistic aircraft.cfg setting to give you battery life for ever. FSX battery deplete very quickly and if you really take your time with proper start up you would have found that by the time you wnat to start the engines, then your C90 do not have sufficiant power to start the plane current workarounds: - Most use FSUIP4 with setting "Extend battery life indefinitely" - Manually add an entry to the FSX plane aircraft.cfg under [ELECTRICAL] section electrical_always_available=1 NOTE: CONDITION for gauge to do its work..! for this gauge to work properly so that you can actually see battery power depletes and being charged both FSUIP4 entry for battery life indefinitely on, must be switch off and the aircraft.cfg file must not have the entry "electrical_always_available=1" It has been uploaded to avsim. I dont know when it will be available, should be available in day or two. so check the library under FSX gauges Illustration on how it work NOTE: THIS will ONLY work if the plane is stationary. Once the plane moves and you have not decoupled the GPU the system will automatically decouple the GPU and switch off the battery charger.

  12. and this make you king of the jungle.. ? I humbly apologize
  13. Well thanks for your inputs, sometimes it take a bit of other peoples view to see it more in perspective.. and as I said, all carenado product have been a pleasure to fly once it is over it's first round of fixes and absolutey YES this plane can be an outstanding plane end of the day. By no means I am saying I am not liking the plane, just a bit pee'ed of with the huge number of of small bugs.. I am in no way bashing a good plane, just the incompleteness of obvious stuff that should not have passed BETA. So get it, it is going to outgrew is birth pains sooner then later (I hope because I can see potensial and a lot of it), whether carenado fix them or some other people here fix them.
  14. :LMAO: :LMAO: tsk tsk jealousy is a real bad thing... 8P
  15. and I love every moment of it... dont you also miss me when I am gone..
  16. For the more adventurous : why not have different brightness selections make it so that you can have different settings from 50% to 100% with the default being set at 70% As above but.. STEP 1 Add this code just in from of <MouseArea id="MouseArea"> <Element id="brightness50"> <FloatPosition>0.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Visibility>(L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum) 0 ==</Visibility> <Element id="Shadow"> <Rectangle id="Rectangle"> <Width>512</Width> <Height>512</Height> <FillColor>black</FillColor> <Transparency>0.5000</Transparency> </Rectangle> </Element> </Element> <Element id="brightness60"> <FloatPosition>0.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Visibility>(L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum) 1 ==</Visibility> <Element id="Shadow"> <Rectangle id="Rectangle"> <Width>512</Width> <Height>512</Height> <FillColor>black</FillColor> <Transparency>0.6000</Transparency> </Rectangle> </Element> </Element> <Element id="brightness70"> <FloatPosition>0.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Visibility>(L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum) 2 ==</Visibility> <Element id="Shadow"> <Rectangle id="Rectangle"> <Width>512</Width> <Height>512</Height> <FillColor>black</FillColor> <Transparency>0.7000</Transparency> </Rectangle> </Element> </Element> <Element id="brightness80"> <FloatPosition>0.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Visibility>(L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum) 3 ==</Visibility> <Element id="Shadow"> <Rectangle id="Rectangle"> <Width>512</Width> <Height>512</Height> <FillColor>black</FillColor> <Transparency>0.8000</Transparency> </Rectangle> </Element> </Element> <Element id="brightness90"> <FloatPosition>0.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Visibility>(L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum) 4 ==</Visibility> <Element id="Shadow"> <Rectangle id="Rectangle"> <Width>512</Width> <Height>512</Height> <FillColor>black</FillColor> <Transparency>0.9000</Transparency> </Rectangle> </Element> </Element> <Element id="brightness100"> <FloatPosition>0.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Visibility>(L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum) 5 ==</Visibility> <Element id="Shadow"> <Rectangle id="Rectangle"> <Width>512</Width> <Height>512</Height> <FillColor>black</FillColor> <Transparency>1.0000</Transparency> </Rectangle> </Element> </Element> STEP2 then add 2 clickspots to decrease and increase the exposure again right at the bottom, replace the following code <MouseArea id="MouseArea"> </MouseArea> with this <MouseArea id="MouseArea"> <FloatPosition>00.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Size>512,512</Size> <MouseArea id="Decrease brightness"> <FloatPosition>0.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Size>240,100</Size> <CursorType>Hand</CursorType> <MouseClick id="MouseClick"> <Script>(L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum) 1 - 0 max (>L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum)</Script> </MouseClick> </MouseArea> <MouseArea id="Increase brightness"> <FloatPosition>270.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Size>240,100</Size> <CursorType>Hand</CursorType> <MouseClick id="MouseClick"> <Script>(L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum) 1 + 6 min (>L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum)</Script> </MouseClick> </MouseArea> </MouseArea> STEP3 No add the section to default always to 70% when you start the plane (70% is nice for me - you can change it if you want) Scroll right up to the TOP of the gauge just below this section (after the </Update> of this section and before this section that that start with <Element id="VIS_GAUGE_EFIS84_EADI">) <Update id="Update"> <Script> (L:Init) 0 == if{ 1 (>L:Init) </Script> </Update> add another update <Update id="brightness"> <Script>2 (>L:BrightC90_EFIS_3D, enum)</Script> </Update> SAVE your XML file STEP4 Now open the panel.cfg file. Scroll right down to the [Vcockpit05] section change gauge07 to gauge07=C90KA!ToggleEFIS, 32, 132, 448, 348 (this is just to make place for the added clickspot otherwise you would not be able to select the increase / decease clickspots.)
  17. Dave I hear what you say but even with your new car, the "bugs" will be limited.. This has a list as long as kingdom come... Obviously it has NOT been tested till exhaustion... that would have shown with a very much shorter bug list - or if they did they must reconsider their BETA team as they then not doing a proper job at all.. but that is what you get when "real pilots do the tests".. :LMAO: Why can other developers release product with couple of items that really could have been missed like eg when Realair release a plane.. Not being unfair.. Just FACTS and it does not matter how you like it or not.. THIS has not been tested properly and for that matter tested at all.
  18. Ok at this time we all know that gauges behind models is overexposed to very large extend as the famous carenado GPS overexposure have shown so man times. Many will agree the the EFIS is a bit bright and making reading on the EFIS a bit difficult as below. Now you can change it to rather look like this..! to make the change and hang a little curtain in front of the gauge NB: Make sure you have proper backups of the files you about to change: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Create a new subfolder to your FSX Gauges folder and call it EFISC90 2. Unzip the Gauge "EFISC90.cab" file from your Gauges folder into this folder 3 Now find the XML file called "EFIS_3D.xml" in your new folder and open the file with Notepad. Scroll right down to the end of the file. Add the following code just in from of <MouseArea id="MouseArea"> <Element id="brightness"> <FloatPosition>0.000,0.000</FloatPosition> <Element id="Shadow"> <Rectangle id="Rectangle"> <Width>512</Width> <Height>512</Height> <FillColor>black</FillColor> <Transparency>0.7000</Transparency> </Rectangle> </Element> </Element> if you wnat it even a bit more darker, change transparency value to 0.5. the lower the value the darker, the higher the value the lighter. 1.00 = 100% transparent 0.70 = 70% transparent 0.50 = 50% transparent SAVE the file Enjoy a much more readable EFIS. Changing FONT size as per Bert instructions I also changed my font size to 26 - Also helped a lot In the folder you created, open up the EFIS_3D.xml file again with Notepad and search for "22" You'll find several instances of a pair like <FontHeight>22</FontHeight> ......... <Size>100,22</Size> Change these to <FontHeight>26</FontHeight> ......... <Size>100,26</Size>
  19. not yet but aerosoft is in the process.. same guy that did the katana X, is now doing this plane.. http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/45239-whats-next/
  20. That was for sure one of this year FSX highlights, I admit.. absolutely one of the best ever fixes for FSX..!! i wish I can go and give him some plaque for recognition for what he have done to get these CTD out the way..!
  21. Carenado ALWAYS release a plane unfinished.. that is no new surprise to those that have a long history with purchasing carenado planes (and yes, I have 99% of their planes) . Why does carenado use customers to beta TEST.. is always been like this.. Only developer where you have to pay to do BETA testing. Every time I look forward to a better release but it just do NOT happen.. Will we ever come to a point that carenado will be able to release something with at lease a limited number of bugs, but they keep releasing planes with so many obvious bugs, it proof that over and over that there has been very limited testing and I am not even going to start on their famous hype of being "Tested by real pilots". God knows I hope I never fly with one of them, All carenado planes have always had HUGE potential lets face it and all ended up very good indeed after a while, even though some required up to 3 Service packs to correct stuff, but on the other hand, most stuff is corrected here by customers to be honest, and by the time the customers really get fedup, they just release a new plane and everybody get on the bandwagon and forget the troubles of the previous plane, best customer complained management system I have ever seen.. Carenado is renowned to be a sausage stopper making planes available so fast, so it should not come then as a surprise that they never get tested properly.. If you want quantity of good looking flying textures only, carenado is the place to go, If you want quality and immersion then there are other where you can go, but you will NEVER get it here at carenado. So this will be my last purchase of carenado as even their price tag do not really substantiate what you get.. just a good looking set of flying textures and that is IT..! sad but true. I dont like to look at the plane I like to fly the plane, without a list of bugs so long as my arm...!
