  1. I run FSX in Win 8.1 and use the NGX with no problems at all. Norman
  2. I am an IE and AVAST user and I had this report when signing in this morning. Norman
  3. For those that want a simple procedure I have placed an ilistrated manual about how to add aircraft to EGLC in UT2 on the UK2000 Web Site AFCAD page.In answer to the query about repositioning UT2 aircraft to another disk, the answer is to use a link from the drive that FSX is one. To do this you need to enter the cmd dos box and use mklink. For a typical installation you first need to change to the FSX folder and then simobjects with this instruction cdProgram Files (x86)Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator Xsimobjects. Then the command will be mklink /d "UT2 Aircraft" "D:UT2 Aircraft" assuming you wanted them on disk "D".NormanEdit: I should have said that you will have already cut and pasted your UT2 Airrcrafts folder to disk D.
  4. Well, I took part, as you can see above, but the reason I was late, arrival 20-30 zulu, was because I had two mid flight crashes before a successful flight. Norman
  5. Well, I flew into Dublin last night, but by the time I got there everyone had gone home. Norman
  6. Completed the tutorial 1 now twice, the second time a lot better and worked well. Using NL2000 scenery with Jim Viles AFD file for EHAM for the Netherlands end. Norman
  7. The second part of your query sounds as though there is an entry in the scenery.cfg that is pointing at the wrong foler. If you look at your scenry.cfg file in notepad, found at C:\Program Data\Microsoft\FSX if you have the default setup, you will find all the scenery entries are numbered from 001 to whatever. Find the entry number 115 and that is where your problem is. You can then either amend the entry in the scenery.cfg to point to the correct folder or else in the scenery library delete that scenery entry and then add it again. Norman
  8. As chief node pusher for UK2000 I have no recollection of you or anyone else reporting this problem for Gatwick. In any case, the problem occured for me at EHAM. Norman
  9. Same here, no matter which way I end a flight. Intel i7 3.8ghz 570gtx win7 64 bit 6GB TAM. Norman
  10. I have Vista Home Premium 64 bit, 6 GB RAM and Acceleration and I have not experienceed any of the liveries no showing. The only problem I have had with the MD11 is OOM.Norman
  11. Great, thank you for that, it works a treat.Norman :>))
  12. OK, just wondered if there was a link. The other thing I wonder about is if it is linked to Acceleration/SP2, which I also have on my system.Norman
  13. Glad to know I am not the only one, though sorry for you. Are you also using Vista 64 as the os?The TOGA switch is below the centre throttle levers, above the engine cutout swiches.Norman
  14. Well I have tried all you suggested, ran the repair option, have uninstalled and re-installed twice and it is still the same.I am now going to downoad the zip again and then try another re-install.Norman
  15. Thanks Morten and Carl, I'll try different positons to view the panels. I would rather avoid a reload, but if necessary then that may be the way. I do not have a problem with push back Morton.Norman
  16. You need to change your administrator rights for the file. Go to the properties page and then security. About half way down you will see a button "Edit". Click here and make sure that all the functions are ticked for your name.Another work around is to save the file you have amended to desktop, and then copy and paste it to overwrite the file in its original folder.NormanEdit: I must have posted at the same time as the previous thread. If you untick user access controls then you do dso for all folders, some where you may not wish to lower the security. Your choice.
  17. I have now flown sevearl flights with the new "Queen" and everything has gone exectionally well. Using Vista 64 as the OS, with a 6700 Cor 2 Duo chip, 7800gtx card 4BG 6700 memory and TrackIR. I get good frame rates (better than in FS9) and the sim is smooth and enjoyable. No OOM reports. There is, however, one problem. In the pedestal view non of the click spots are operable. They are showing, as the cursor changes to a hand, but I cannot operate any swithches, buttons or knobs. Further the CDU is only operable from the Captain,s or Third Officer positions, in all other views the click spots either do not show, or are inoperable.Have I missed something, or if not, is there a work around.Norman
