Robert, I have been in contact with support and after a couple of days I have solved the issue. It is not clear what the problem is (drivers, updates ???) so I cannot post 'the solution'. What I did after trying again and again for several days: Instal win-7, NO updates, NO drivers, NOT changing the location of 'My Documents' (don't know why this was all of a sudden a problem), instal FSX and PMDG-planes, and then run all the updates. I reformatted my system, Installed Win-7, every possible updates, FSX+expansion, then I installed the NGX. After a few pupups (dealing about several dll's, which I confirmed) I am still waiting for the well know activation popup. It won't appear. My fsx freezes. I even tried to install the good old MD-11, same sort of thing happens: some popups appears amd then fsx freezes. The only thing I've changed in comparison with previous installs is that I'm using a different drive (D:\fsx instead of C:\fsx) I've submitted a support ticket. Got feedback to check for common solutions, such as SP1+2, administrative rights, to make sure I did not delete services etc. None of this was applicable, saddly. I just even installed the SDK, and run the simconnect.msi (as an act of desperate). Help would be much appreciated Goof van den Biggelaar my rig: i7 3770k - GTX680 - Win 7 Ultimate

Ooops, It shouldn't be: 'short stop' panelstate but 'NGX SHORT' But I googled, and except buying fs2crew, I cannot find anything else.

There are several checklists for normal procedures. They all asume that you are starting up from 'cold and dark'. A great example is the checklist designed by Michael Swannick I like to start from a panel state 'short stop' and would like to know which items from the normal procedure I can skip and which don't. Too bad.I did as suggested in the post.All it deed was terminating fsx when I pressed on the 'fly now' button. By the way, How many fps will it differ... unlimited without fps_limiter and unlimited with fps_limiter?

I've done all the instructions. Googled hours for the answer on the error I get.Running the .bat gives me the error message (it's in Dutch, so I've to translate it):"cannot start application correctly (0xc000005). Click OK to quit the application" I've added the message in the attachment. I've got the strange idea that I'm the only one who got this specific error message.Help will be appreciated! It's august 2009, and still there is no sollution for this.Am I correct that the only solve is still to delete all 'old' saved flights and panelstates.Does this mean that it will work with 'new' saved flights? Well, maybe this topic should be left open, so that all bashing etc. can be done on this one and the other topics can remain open for 'pure' sim purposes.The pros of not having the FS9 version are great... have a closer look at all my other add-ons ...
