  1. Sorry, saw meanwile that runway numbering for PAHO has officially changed to 04 + 22 according to directions. Gerd
  2. Ryan, cannot confirm that there are no diff between older data and 777´s. Example: before 777´s installation I had Navdatapro airac1306. PAHO had runways 03 + 21. After installation of 777´s I have airac1309 with runways 04 + 22 on PAHO. As I never bought an original 1309 cycle, cannot say if this comes from Aerosoft or not. Gerd Dresch
  3. Sorry that I must say this, but the J41 makes no fun at all to me.I am not able to get this bird running properly. Even not with the tutorial. This never happend with any other PMDG airplane. The J41 is obviously made for specialists only. It needs to read (and understand) a lot of paper. I am not writing this to start any discussion but to get PMDG thinking about, that selling a lot of copies does not automatically mean customer
  4. Same thing here. Happens on new Win7 installation after touchdown. No further unusual engine parameters or any malfunctioninformations. At same time rudder does not center anymore.Did not happen in my old XP installation.
  5. As first try rename the XML file and let the GoFlight software recreate a new oneduring another re-installation. This is to see if the software does what it should.
  6. For functionality of data bridge check file EXE.XML in \Documents and Settings\"user"\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX and see if entries for GFdevFSX.exe are correctin there. Sometimes this file does not get updated properly or gets corrupted by other software. If this file is not ok it also does not ask for permission to run and many things can happen then.
  7. Did not change anything there. According to BIOS Vcore is max. 1.232V.Thanks for the answers. There is a lot to do for me now.
  8. Have problems running FSX with any higher cpu multiplier than standard. After about 30 minutes flying system reboots.CPU temp is always below 70C with standard air cooler. Also all other temps are moderate.I am using 1866-ram with xmp profile1 = 1.65V ram.Have set QPI manually to 1.335V. All other settings remain auto. Also tried LLC without success.Has anybody some experience how to OC a 965 at best? (want to keep the cooler)Many thanks
  9. Jonathan,is this a theoretical question or a fact?Have placed mine in a way that it is easy for me.You have to find a place where handling is comfortable for You.Nobody can help You on this.Gerd
  10. Bud,is this problem just limited to the MD-11 or to other aircraft too?Gerd
  11. Have just found this in the PMDG modification description of version ...51:"50. In the previous version when spoilers or flaps were operated using joystick levers the controlinput was converted so that a reverse operation was forced (moving the lever towards youincreases flaps or speedbrakes setting). Now there is no input manipulation; instead, the waythe lever is operated is left to be determined by the way the axis was assigned in either theFS or FSUIPC controls menu ("reverse" checkbox ticked or not)."This describes what I said earlier. Have You changed something in FSUIPC which reverses the sence again?Gerd
  12. Jonathan, they are a bit stiff, thats right. I have a heavy metal yoke from Jeppesen on my desk andhave attached the throttle to this with a steel bracket.Selfmade.Gerd
  13. Ryan, came just back in my mind:I assumed that GFdevFSX.exe is running upfront starting the FSX.That
  14. No, not needed. You just need one profile for FS9 + one for FSX.I have defined the profiles for a 4 engine aircraft and thats it.If I use a 2 engine aircraft I just use the first 2 levers (from left). However, if You want to have the 2 levers in the middle of the fourthen, of course, You have to define a seperate profile. But I never tried this.Gerd
  15. If You are using FSX PMDG MD-11 latest version (...051), Reverse functionalityfor speed brakes + flaps must be checked (as for all other aircraft too)but if You have FSX MD-11 earlier version it should not be checked. Within FSX settings I have defined under "Advanced control" full sensibilityand zero neutral.Gerd
  16. No FSUIPC at all.See my former comment. TQ6 should also work for FSX except that latest software should be usedand seperate assignment profile to be defined in GF software.b.t.w. haven
  17. 1. Windows (XP in my case) has to recognize it as a game controller. 2. Lever functions to be configured with GF software3. Controller functionality (assignments + sensibility) to be configured in FS9. Speedbrakes + Flaps (Lever A + Lever F) with Reverse functionality. For FS9 also older GF software should make the job. For FSX I
  18. No special s/b calibration used. Everything via FSX controller settings for the whole unit. The latest GF driver is essential. Gerd
  19. Does anybody know, from own experience, how performance will be affected in FSX by just changing mobo from PCIe to PCIe 2.0?My video card is able to work on PCIe 2.0. (8800GTS512)ThanksGerhard Dresch
  20. would it be legal, from a PMDG
  21. Can confirm this 100%. I am currently using TQ6 for PMDG 747 + MD11, both FS9 + FSX. Also for Level-D 767 FS9+FSX.All functions without any problems. Gerhard Dresch
