January 9, 201016 yr Sorry that I must say this, but the J41 makes no fun at all to me.I am not able to get this bird running properly. Even not with the tutorial. This never happend with any other PMDG airplane. The J41 is obviously made for specialists only. It needs to read (and understand) a lot of paper. I am not writing this to start any discussion but to get PMDG thinking about, that selling a lot of copies does not automatically mean customer Gerhard Dresch Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming7 | Intel Core i7-4790k@ 4.4GHz | 16GB GSkill RipjawsX DDR3-2133 | Lian Li B25F | Xigmatek Aegir | Palit GTX 980Ti | Crucial MX300 | Tagan PipeRock 800W | Eizo Foris FS2333 | W7 Pro 64bit
January 9, 201016 yr It is a simulation of the real aircraft. I think many of PMDG's customers purchase their aircraft because they are so accurately modeled. Personally if almost all of the systems in an airplane aren't modeled I am not interested.Andres Zapata
January 9, 201016 yr I haven't any idea why you can't "get this bird running properly." Are you having problems with starting engines? Dan Downs KCRP
January 10, 201016 yr It just takes some time man stick with it and before you know it you will be having a blast. It takes practice. And I know what you mean I was having a lot of trouble with this plane when I bought it in Sept. but now starting it is like second nature and programming the fms is a breeze as well. There are a lot of helpful people on here so if your having trouble give it a search on here or just ask. Who knows maybe someone can do a chat with you or something to help you out 1 on 1. Thats what i for my friend that bought it since he wanted to fly it right a way before he read the books.
January 11, 201016 yr took me some time to get used to this aircraft, but i just cannot avoid flying this aircraft now,do not know why you find it so difficultvivek http://www%28delete_this%29.precisionmanua...m/supporter.jpg
January 13, 201016 yr It was difficult at first for me, but after a couple of months now having flown many legs with it, I have to say, getting good at this plane felt like quite the accomplishment and very fulfilling.Dont give up on the JS41. It is really a blast to fly. A commercial plane, but still has that General Aviation feel to it. January 13, 201016 yr Every plane you start in, however easy or difficult it is, takes a certain amount of time to get used to... If you could be more specific as to the problems you are having, there are plenty of knowledgeable people here to help you...The J41 is not particularly difficult to fly, you just need to know the basics, read the manuals a little, fly the tutorial line by line, it all comes together soon enough... I would say the engine start is the most complicated and problem-prone part... :)She is one of the nicest, if not the best, regional TP simulation for FS currently available, in my opinion... Stick with it, you will see that it is worth it...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
