Let there be light!
I have also found the logo lights on the T7 to be quite dim (almost imperceptible) compared to the other lighting effects. Steve Cherry

Kyle, your points are well taken. I will add that I did not "choose" to find the reply as condescending any more than I "choose" to feel cold or "choose" to like/dislike a certain wine. It is simply a visceral reaction. My apologies if this was not your intension. As for the "truth", well what is and isn't the truth is debatable. The more important issue in my opinion is how we communicate with each other. In my profession I often have to deliver very devastating "truths" to people. The manner in which it is delivered makes a difference in how they "handle it". I do believe that we are all responsible for the way we treat each other; be it in person or on a forum. In closing, I do want you to know that I believe you are a very intelligent person with a deep knowledge of aviation and flight simulation. I have enjoyed many of your posts. It would be a shame if some people were reluctant to ask you questions fearful of how you would respond. I will now retreat back to the shadows. Steven Cherry

Wow. Such a pompous, condescending reply. Someone asks a simple, polite question and is answered with this. Perhaps you are well versed in history but I would suggest that you need a few classes in civil discourse. Having a banner proclaiming that "hugs and kisses won't be found here" does not excuse you from proper behavior. In my opinion, your response was far more unnecessary than the original poster's. I have met many people in my life who have thought they were perfect but have yet to find any who actually were. Steven Cherry

05MAY13 - Release Dates on the 777 and Our Silence on Same
Weather radar, by the very definition of "system," certainly is one; no different than the examples you cited. Whether or not they are included in the simulation nor its relative importance does not make it less so. Steve Cherry

07AUG12: PMDG 777 Manuals Available! (Start studying!)
Hi Aurelien, I have checked the order page and no shipping information as of yet. I did get an email from PMDG support stating that each order is custom printed and packaged so it appears that the printing company may be a little overwhelmed at the moment. Thanks for your help. Steve Cherry

It seems there is a bit of a delay. I placed my order Thursday morning and received my pruchase confirmation from PMDG but have yet to hear from FedEx (FedEx home delivery). Steven Cherry

NGX Tire Blowouts?
How long does it take to use a little kindness and welcome someone to the forums ? I have been frequenting AVSIM and the PMDG forums for many years. I seldom make posts primarily due to responses like this. The lack of civility on these boards is truly disheartening.Steven Cherry

Serious problem with elevator being "locked"
Hi guys,For me at least, I don't think it is the joystick. I have a CH Eclipse. Something, perhaps another addon, is intrfereing with the autopilot. To me, it is very interesting that the elevator control always returns at 100 ft AGL just as the "copilot" makes the call. Thanks....Steven Cherry

Serious problem with elevator being "locked"
The elevator "locked" problem seems to occur, more often for me, on longer flights. I have never experienced it on short flights such as pattern work. It occurs with the aircraft on a very stable approach, appropriate speeds, with approach mode engaged. When the auto pilot is disengaged to complete the flight manually, aileron and rudder control return, but elevator control does not. It is as if the autopilot is not releasing that axis. It also noticed that it also seems to be associated with the cockpit LCDs not updating in the virtual cockpit on long flights. I can solve this problem by switching to the 2d cockpit and then back to VC.. Thanks......Steven Cherry

Serious problem with elevator being "locked"
Hello Joona,I am also having this problem however elevator control suddenly returns about 100 ft AGL. It occurs just as you describe; fully automatic approach, disconnect autopilot, aileron control returns but there is no elevator control until 100 ft agl..Thanks..Steven Cherry
