  1. I use trackir, but you could try tracknoir, all you need is a webcam, and its free.............try their website oh and no clips or headgear either. lloyd jones Ive read that if you want to buy a webcam for tracknoir, the sony ps3 one is recommended for the pc.high frame rates etc please do your own research.
  2. To realise what the cube is for you will have to "think outside the box" lol lollloyd jones.
  3. I just suffered a ctd on approach, 2000ft with hgs just lowered seconds before. Also feels like theres a slight memory leak as the graphics get slightly laboured as i go further into the flight. Md 11 runs faultlessly though, go figure. lloyd jones
  4. I agree, the sound set is superb and adds greatly to the feeling of being immersed into the cockpit. And the lights, wow. lloyd jones
  5. Although Im impressed with the ngx, I have to agree about the fps hit. After using other pmdg products, and especially the md 11, it came as a surprise to find Im back in time about 3 years, stuttering wise. please dont patronise me with advise about tweaks and limiters etc, Im an old hand at this. Anyway i suspect there is a small flaw with the finished product, lowering its performance. Its affecting some more than others, and its unfortunate. We will get there though, with the help of the support team, who work so hard to get things right. I have worked it so its flyable now, but have one query. Im not really up on gauges, but i checked the sim for erroneous gauges and missing gauges, and found the following statements from flusifix 06. e:\microsoft flight simulator x\simobjects\airplanes\pmdg 737-800ngx\panel\panel.cfg[VCOCKPIT02]gauge01=hud!pmdg_737_ng , 0,0,1,1 //Missing gauge: pmdg_737_ng.xml (in the folder e:\microsoft flight simulator x\simobjects\airplanes\pmdg 737-800ngx\panel\hud\) and PMDG_737NGX_2.dll as being faulty It may well be just a part of the way pmdg are using and switching gauges, but i dont know. I reinstalled the ngx 3 times and the same happened. it may all be a red herring but i thought it may help. By the way you should get flusifix06, its a great tool for editing your fsx.cfg and some fancy tricks like speeding up taxing, slowing down airport ground traffic etc. Above all it corrects the strobes on ai so they dont all flash in sinc, luverly jubberly. and its free too. lloyd jones http://www.wolfgang-picheta.de/ authors website.
  6. Any chance of having some uk travel company liveries? I was thinking of thomson and thomas cook first choice etc
  7. Yes mate, I have used it. Pretty good, simple to use. One thing though, the j41 is not yet modelled fully, as they are waiting for sp1 to be released. After that, the full j41 modelling with fuel planning will be installed, usually takes a couple of days.Vroute is also really useful if you intend flying on vatsim.D L jones
  8. [/url]It is possible to add the raindrop effect after all. This should not played down, the effects are important when simming in wet weather.Come on PMDG give it a shot.As an aside, when taxiing in wet weather Im getting a mist trail coming from the central underbelly, strange thing is, it wont stop, even after taking off and entering clear weather.Any ideas welcome, i saw it on a screenshot once on a forum, but no idea how to cure it. thanks.d jones
  9. Lawyers cant really stop enthusiasts working out the fuel loads.Jeez its like volkswagon having me arrested for working out how many mpg my car does. The md 11 is gutsy

  12. It would have amazing if this was brought out in the days when other sims had no dials, colour etc, but that was 30 years ago..................................................
  13. If thats the case, after 8 years, what have they been doing?
