OK i Think I solved it. I uninstalled and reinstall a 4th time as administrator then rebooted the computer. Presto Like magic everything worked Flawlessly. I may have had a fluke thing running the installer the first few time. the 4th time is a charm :smile:

Im getting multiple errors upon loading this aircraft. I've installed it in its default location. then in the sim directory. it makes no difference were i put this. anyways here is the error. Error Encountered MMSystem - Unspecified Error Full Error Code 0x88780078 Location 10 File Its pointing to either the RASLegacy cabinet file or the RASLegacy_Sound_V2.gau file. I cant tell because the window size cuts off before i can read it. I am running windows 10 I7 6700k 4.6ghz 2x 980ti asus maximus VIII extream 16gb ram at 3200 mhz SSD for windows SSD Prepar3D v3.1 Maybe i did somthing wrong but i have reinstalled this 3 times.

I'm just wondering if anybody knows what issues are going to be addressed. I'm quite content with 2.4 with the cloud fix. But I'm always looking forward to a newer version to see what more has been fixed. Maybe if Pete Dowson has announced when his next vacation/holiday is then we would know the exact week 2.5 would land on our hard drives. They have always seemed to launch a new version when is gone for that week lol!

Hey is there anyway to remove the 3rd knobs on the gps so we can add our own like in the older carenado planes earlier?

They have just about every thing the real GTN units have and seem to work the same way the Reality XP GPS untis work. They use an outside trainer program, Also they can be purchased seporately for both FSX and P3Dv2. Full WAAS and Safe Taxi plus airport charts can be viewed along with GPWS and Airtrafic alerting and can be crossfilled. This would be I great thing to start including in all and future aircraft VCs

Hi there. I have been trying to figure out how to make a workstation/cockpit more functional. I fly both left handed and right, also with both sticks and yokes. I have everything plugged in all the time and needed a solution so i didn't have to do a lot of moving around of controllers. It needed to support a yoke and a stick at the same time. Also needed to support all my saitek panels including the TPM control. I needed to fly anything from a Piper Cub to a 777 without any adjustments. I have tracker 5 with the 5.2 drivers but its not working in P3dV2 I just have the $10 monthly plan just to see how this sim works on my machine.

Nevermind I fixed it by uninstalling the NGX and then reinstalling it then fs2crew and it works. :lol:

I having a crash in the config manager V2.0 I have just reinstalled windows 7 64 and everything and am almost finished with my FSX installations (there are many) but now when I install Fs2Crew and get to the config manager and select either voice or button control the whole thing crashes with this message... I may be one of the few people that really like the Carenado G1000. Ok let me first say that my first Carenado plane to have it was the Cirrus SR22. I bought it the day it came out. I loved to plane, it was sublime but the G1000 killed my experence it 2 ways first it was very heavy on the frames (bummer). Second it was NOT very usefull (a bigger bummer). For me the avionics need to have a point other than to look good. I really don't think many people know anything about the real G1000. Or how to use it efectively. It seams like most of the videos on youtube and screenshots from various users are flying the G1000 with the startup display screen on the MFD!!! I have over 200 hours in real life flying a Cessna 172 sp Cessna 182 turbo and a Grumman Tiger all with a G1000. One of the biggest advantages of switching from traditional steam gauges to the glass for me was the situational awareness from the MFD with all of the maps and terrain options. Carenado has done an excellent job in rendering this, although its not perfect. It's missing roads and towers ext. but the GPW display is really nice. Also you can switch from TRACK NORTH or HEADING up mode. You can go into the MENU and change almost all of the parameters of the unit. This is something that I think people don't realize you have at your disposal. On top of that since they finally fixed the G1000 for the Cessna 182 and SR22 we have gained the ability to create edit and remove flight plans, giving us back a major function an ability of this unit. Even if LPV approaches aren't modeled this G1000 stand to be in my opinion on par with the Flight 1 G1000. The aircraft I base this on are the Flight 1 Cessna Mustang Flight 1 Cessna 182T Skylane Flight 1 Beechcraft C200 (This plane has the safe taxi feature, "really cool") Carenado Sr22 Carenado TBM 850 I didn't get the Carenado 182t because I already had it from Flight 1 My personal conclusion is this. The Carenado G1000 has many features that some people might not know anything about. The documentation doesn't hardly cover anything indepth. For what Carenado's G1000 was early on is now usable, functional and well polished. Is it complete? No it isn't. But it is so much better than it was when it firs came out.

Where can I get any infor on XPX 10.3x I heard that there will be seasons or better looking city's. or maybe that was someone's wishful thinking too. I finally started to fly in XPX this weekend. I also bought 3 planes 1. Mitsubishi MU2 1.5, the Blackshape , jetstream 32. Wow som of the coolest things I've seen in a flight sim so far are the shadows and lighting. I really like the flashlight both red and white. Also seeing the lightning from a thunder storm and night is just awesome. Now if there is a way to fix the sim city aspect!?! I just don't recognize anywhere I usually fly. Like I said in my last post I'm a hardcore FSX flyer but can really see the amazing potential of XPX.

I am away for the week on the road and I finally bought XPX global. My wife said there was a package me from Laminar Research, so like any one of us would do, I down played it and said to just leave it on my desk and ill see it when I get home. Ok so I've bought XPX I am not sure if I'm going to like it or not but I felt I needed to at least support LR and any one that is keeping this hobby going. Now to be clear I am not about to start a FSX vs XPX vs P3D vs whatever. I believe in this product now and that is why I've dumped $80 and risking being in the dog house for the foreseeable future with the mrs. Questions I have for XP flyers are 1. How is the ATC compare to te default FSX? 2. Will there ever be seasonal textures you know, winter spring summer fall? 3. Will the default airports ever have buildings? 4. Is there a AI traffic program like My Traffic or whatever? 5. I've heard that XPX uses real aerodynamics, if so if I made a toilet with a landing gear it wouldn't fly? Or if it did it would fly crappy ( no pun intended) 6. I have Track IR and the only view that worked in the demo was I believe Shift 9. Is there a setting or program like EZDOK camera for XPX? Also can you create different views that would use Track IR? 7. Is there still development ongoing after version 10.21 8. Are there plans to make the city's look more like they should? Yes very ugly. I'm tired of seeing this everywhere in life latly not just in our hobby but in all aspects of life. Just 20 years ago things were so much different. Scary to think what things will be like 20 years from now.

That's funny I mean sad I was just reading a post on reality xp fourm and I does look that way. Maybe they are dormant until p3d 2.0 and then they can figure something out

Maybe a good aircraft for carenado to make in a couple of years from now if they can evolve there g1000 cockpit and create the touch screen interface gtc570. However if realityXP can create the gtc 570 that would even be better. Thinking also p3d 2.0 will be out by then and 64 bit will be the name of the game. So maybe, hint hint. Any thoughts....

yep your right they were quick with the key and now its running and fully registered. Now if I can only figure out how to use it.

ok Got it to install Finaly. I went in to msconfig and disabled my startup programs. it finaly installed. Now i wonder how long it will take to get the registration key emailed or what ever i need to do.

ok so i just dropped $60 over on Flightsim.com's Pilot shop and downloaded MCE. when I double click setup it it says "This will install Multi Crew Experience, continue? and I click Yes. Then Instantly i get a message saying "Setup has Encountered an Problem! Please contact vender. Now i only have the version that Flightsim.com's Pilot shop is giving me. should i download it from the Venders websight and try it? Has anyone else had or have this problem Not beeing able to inatll this program.

Ok so here is the deal. I've been using Windows 7 for years now and have gotten so fed up with all the various CTD. From G3D.dll (now fixed by FSUIPC) to Stackhash, ntdll.dll you name it. I've used the aiautomation tweek from vista and I've never had that crash but everyone of them besides that. Anyways over the last week now I've decided to take a completely different approach with my system. I remember when FSX came out in 2006 and it was to showcase windows Vista. So I thought way back when I hade windows XP and how FSX ran back then. I honestly don't remember having very many CTD back then I had a bunch of freezes then but that was due to my nvidia GeForce 7800 gxt which was known to have that problem in FSX. Then I got vista and acceleration pack with a nvidia 8800 and I didn't have any more freezes or lookups. CTD to my memory back then were rare at best. Ok fast forward to January of 09. I build a new system just to run FSX. Core i7 965 OC to 4 ghz 6 gigs of ram, 4 hard drive one dedicated to FSX. Nvidia gtx 295 later upgraded to gtx 480 and all way fairly ok albeit running on Vista64 Ultimate with sp1. I think it was later that year windows 7 came out but I got it and never looked back to vista. Ok fast forward again to this last week. Ever since I've been running Windows 7 64 FSX has been getting so unstable. Ever with a fresh operating system install I would get CTD in every flight situation be it with addon scenery, aircraft, or even default setups with no addons installed yet. It seemed like the more windows7 updated itself the more FSX became unstable. I've finally started to relize that mabe FSX isn't such a broken program as I was starting to believe. So I decided to take a different approach... I went to try and find my copy on Vista and having dusted it off I inserted it in the drive. I then formatted and deleted every drive and partition. The on my c drive I created a new partition and split the drive in half. Formatted and install vista on 0 then installed windows 7 on 1. Now I have a dual boot configuration with vista and windows7. My thinking was to dedicate vista to FSX only and w7 for everything mon FSX related. I updated vista to the point were there isn't anymore updates left and then began the tedious task of installing FSX and everything else. PMDG, CARENADO, REALAIR, REALITY XP, FLIGHT 1, CAPTAIN SIM, AEROSOFT, ORBX, UTX, GEX,REX ESSENTIALS, FS CAPTAIN, SAITEK PANELS, LOGITECK G940, SAITEK YOKE W/3 TQS, THRUSTMASTER COUGAR, TRACK IR 5, and on and on. I've used *******'s auto tweeks and set my FPS to 30. All sliders are to the right except for water is high2 and mech res is set to 2 meters. Mytraffic x5.4 is set to 25 25 and cars is at 10 boats ships 40. I'm running dx9 at 1920 x1200 6/10. I took a Carenado Skymaster from orbx daring ton 1s2 to skagett Kbvs to Seattle ksea to kors back to Kbvs . Not CTD of any kind to report during the entire flight. Btw Rex essentials was running. Next I took a Flight 1 Cessna 182t with the g1000 from Kennedy Kjfk during hurricane sandy using Rex Essential to fly Tampas Boston Logan and back. Again no errors of any kind. All PMDG aircraft are stable now and using fs2crew. YBBN with the Flight1 mustang is stable and at 17 FPS wich is good considering aircraft and scenery are maxed out. So for now FSX fly great under vista 64 sp2 not CTD to report and I am finally happy!!!
