SAS uses 7 right now. The source is the briefing sheet, which is provided by SAS's system RODOS before departure :)

Hi!First of all; Thanks again for an amazing product. I've never been enjoying flying so much as I've done since the release of the NGX... :hi:However, I'll got a small problem. I dunno if it is my screen which it's wrong with, but my instruments and the outdata on my panel is "jagged" and could be hard to read when not zoomed in. I got a 17" monitor and I use catalyst control center to control my graphics. However, I actually don't got any good setting in catalyst so I've tried to find good setting by myself (which I've probably failed with...).On this picture, you'll see the instruments which is pretty jagged. I think the problem could be that the instrument is a little to high quality for my screen. I have a ATI HD4890, which is a couple of years old, but is working flawless otherwise. Is there any fix for this problem or is it my small screen which is the problem? There'll may be some setting to catalyst which could fix my issue?Thank you,Erik Linge

Scandinavian Airlines Boeing 737-800WL and 737-600 will be released in less than two weeks. Why should you use my paint and not the ones PMDG already done?My paint is:- Painted with help of more than 40 self taken HQ images of the real planes.- Tail colored in the real color.- Changed the fuselage color to a realistic one.- Extra scratches and dirt to make the plane look exactly as the real plane.- Config-file made with information from the real SAS is included.737-700WL is planned.(Pictures taken at the beta-version so there might be some things that isn't correctly painted yet)Erik Linge

Hi everyone!I know that it is lots of those kind of topics but I actually need your help... ;)Today my old computer stopped working and now I need a new! I have a list here which I got from a local datashop. What do you think about this hardware? It will mainly be used with FSX and NGX together with lots of addons... The reason to that I picked the I7 is that the I5 not is in stock.Silverstone PS04B Precision ATXFSP 500W 80PLUSCore i7-2600KScythe Katana 3 CPU-coolerIntel P67 motherboard2st DDR3 1333MHz 4GBGeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GBWD Caviar Blue 1TB SATADVD±RW 22x SATAWindows 7 64Thanks again for taking your time, it's highly appreciated!Regards,Erik Linge

Made lots of jumpseat in the NG from SAS. My uncle is flying MD80 for SAS and he is sending e-mails to the captains before the flight to ask if I can sit there... ;-) It's great to fly on the jumpseat, the absolute best place on the airplane! The only bad thing is that the flight goes so much faster on the jumpseat.... ;-)

... and he is posting something in the PMDG General Forum. Hmm, wonder what that might be...? ;)

Read the NGX manual without installing the plane?
ErikLinge replied to ErikLinge's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Hello,Thanks for your answers.@Realpilotsimpilot, Thank you, that's true, but I really would like to have the AOM or something similiar so I can study all the instruments and features! The reason to that I don't want to install it is that I am working on a small Asus Eee PC without FSX installed. If it not is possible, I'll have to see if I can install it on friends computer or something but if possible, just getting the manual from PMDG after I've bought it would be a lot easier!RegardsErik Linge -
Read the NGX manual without installing the plane?
ErikLinge replied to ErikLinge's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Hello,Thank you for your answers, everyone!I really would like to buy the hardcover manuals but, the shipping to Sweden costs almost more than the hole package itself and for me as a poor student, I actually don't think it's worth it!To PMDG: Wouldn't in be possible if I after a succesfull download showed you my pay-details and if you just could send me the manual so I don't have to activate it?Regards,Erik LingeSweden -
Hello,This might be a pretty weird question but I need to ask it before I buy the NGX.I have placed an order on a better computer than the one I'm using right now but it will arrive to me in the end of August. I want to start reading the manual before I get my computer to be well prepared when I'll make my first flight. I don't want to install NGX on this computer but I want to use the manual. Is it possible to dowload the manual from somewhere if I've purchased the NGX?Regards,Erik LingeSweden

Hi,Very happy to see two different SAS on the list! I tried too look for "saja viking" but didn't find it... Are you sure you didn't mean "saga viking" or otherwise give me the reg on the first 738? :-)
-
I actually will start learning the aircraft with reading the manual and then I will fly some different failure situations to learn and understand what I just have read.My first real flight will be a SAS flight from Stockholm Arlanda (ESSA), probably to Frankfurt (EDDF), London (EGLL) or to Berlin (EDDT):-)

The walkaround made me smile. I don't think I have to say anything else.

Jo, lite skandinaviska målningar vore inte helt fel ;-)(Yes, some Scandinavian paints wouldn't be wrong...) :-)Would really like to see Scandinavian Airlines - my absolute favorite airline... ;-)
