  1. The SP was so dang cool! Nice shots.
  2. Thanks much, Vincent; this is another must have!
  3. Thanks for ALL of your contributions, Vincent!
  4. I love all of your work, but this might be my favorite. Thank you so very much!
  5. The usual suspects are to blame for OOM errors, heavy air traffic, complex aircraft, a lot of addon's. I have noticed that on my machine, Vector uses a ton of VAS. Sorry I don't have a magic bullet fix for you.
  6. How do I go about fixing the panels from v1 paints? I have four of them from Jaydor over at OZx, and I just need to fix the panels and N#'s. Thanks, Ron
  7. Well I'll be dipped in S^$&... The AM setting saved me approximately 200MB of VAS, and I finally made my Friday Harbor to Firstair trip without an OOM. I can't thank you enough Steve...and everybody else that has contributed to this thread!
  8. Thank you Steve. I'll give an AM setting of 85 a whirl then.
  9. Been following this thread with great interest. I have a 4790k running at 4.5 GHz, liquid cooled. My biggest issue in P3D v3.0 has been OOM's. If I use an AffinityMask setting of 85, will I still get the VAS headroom benefit, or is that only theoretically with HT off. My system runs great, but the OOM's are irritating as heck!
  10. I followed Nick's bible as well. Google reactivates the updater when it updates software such as Chrome. I had to go into msconfig, and kill it in the start up tab. I've had to do it twice in the past three months.
  11. Does it minimize to a small, windowed mode, or all the way to the taskbar? The only reason I ask is that my FSX install kept minimizing to a small, windowed mode. I found that Google Updater was running in the background. Once I shut that down, it stopped happening.
  12. You can close this, or marked it as solved. I found the solution HERE.
  13. I've just had this problem crop up in the past week. I will try to roll my aircraft left or right, and when I physically move the joystick, the controls in the VC move in conjunction with my physical movements, but the aircraft will not roll, then after a couple seconds, it moves dramatically. This is obviously extremely frustrating. I have re-calibrated my CH HOTAS numerous times, turn the sensitivity all the way up in FSX, as well as removed the null zone. I also added the stick sensitivity line in the FSX.cfg. Does anyone have any idea what it causing this? It is happening in all airplanes, and only to the roll axis.

A2A Piper Cub w/Accu-SimA very uncomplicated plane, and I firmly believe that A2A nailed every nuance of it. Great fun to fly!
  15. Because I'd have to add the lines in the cfg file for the 3d Redux Light anyways, and it'd be easier to just change the eyepoint entry. The plane works fine, and I don't really want to re-install it.
  16. Let me start out by saying that I wasn't too sharp at about 0230 this morning. I couldn't sleep so I figured I'd buy A2A's 3D Lights Redux, and play around with FSX for a bit. It works and looks great, but I added some things to my Mentor config file, and changed the eyepoint entry on both versions. The stupid part is that I didn't back up the original before changing it, so can someone please post the default eyepoint entry from their Mentor aircraft.cfg? Thanks, and I won't be doing any .cfg fiddling while half-asleep anymore. :(
