Well I was thinking of getting a Payware Aircraft and theres alot of great products out there but they seem a bit complicated.. so i was wondering if anyone has an idea of what would be good to start of with.im looking of something wich is not Very complicated and is fairly easy to get a hold on.has anyone got a good list?Thank you

Depends on what lkind of flying you want to do, airliners? general aviation? twins? Singles? bush flying? helicopters? business jets?Also what kind of performance do you get in the sim since some addons hit the framerates harder than others.

As others have said it really depends on what you want to get out of the payware.I followed the path of wanting to learn about flying and simulate the experience as close as I could within the limitations of both FSX and the PC environment. With that in mind I started easy and got gradually more complicated and learned technicques as as well as aircarft along the way.These are the aircraft I bought and why:-1. Flight1 C172; I got this as it was at the time the best available option for a typical training cessna within FSX and I wanted to simulate what I could experience at the local airport - if I ever got the funds to try and fly for real :) 2. Carenado Mooney; I got this to experience more complex aircraft with prop controls and moving gear.3. Realair DUKE; Twin engines faster and more complex systems (learning IFR procedures).4. Carenado C152 II; going back to basics as I had just received a flight voucher from my Son and his wife for the local airport.All the aircarft have been excellent in their own way (no problems at all), the DUKE is simply outstanding but so too is the C152 II for what I need it for.TBH I could never go back to flying the defaults, as once you have experienced the quality of the payware products you won't go back. This is not mant to be an exhaustive list by any means as there are many other quality products out there but it is my list and hopefully it will give you some help as ultimately I would recommend any one of them.OldBadger

Thx Guys many good opinions here.. might try out the Duke as it looks awesome.but im looking for a Commercial Aircraft wich is simple to learn and has a simple FMC. basicly easy to learn. and yes VC would be great to have.the PMDG looks very VERY good but it looks very complex and complicated. im simply looking for a good Commercial aircraft that is easy to learn. lets say a "learner aircraft".

That's easy to answer. The Lotus L-39 is one of the easiest and a blast to fly but ultra realistic, the best of the best of the best there is. Look at and buy here or just do a search in this thread and read about the magic. :( Have Fun!Stephen

I agree. The L-39 is a must have. Buy it now. I wish I would have bought it sooner.

If you're interested in getting in to real systems simulation in commercial aircraft, I would say it's less a matter of how complex the aircraft is than how good the documentation and tutorials are. In many respects, the realistic heavy jest are actually simpler to fly than smaller aircraft. I started 'flying' the Level D 767 as a novice to heavy iron, but the documentation is really good. The PMDG 747 also has great documentation and tutorial flights, and is a little bit better in the eye candy department, at least in my opinion. If you don't introduce failures and stick to simple navigation, they're actually quite easy to use, and really give you a good idea of how modern cockpit instrumentation is designed and used.If you have a computer that can handle it, you might also consider the Flight 1 Mustang. I don't have the product myself, but I've heard nothing but good things about it, except that it can be a bit of a performance hog. It's basically an advanced GA cockpit - based on the same G1000 instrumentation that you'll find in most new piston and light turboprop aircraft these days. The Mustang is certified for single-pilot operation, so it should be a good deal simpler to fly than larger business jets or transport category aircraft.Do seriously consider the Duke, though. I really love that plane.

Another option, while not having an official FMC, is the Flight1 Citation Mustang. Its G1000 allows SIDS/STARS much like a flight computer would have with your waypoints. The flight one DC-10 collection is great. It has a very basic fmc that will import flight plans from the fsx planner. The flight model is done very well and the virtual cockpit is also pretty good. For the price you get a collection of the DC-10 with freight and passenger variants. And the sound effects are amazing. As a real world commercial pilot I can highly recomend this product for someone who wants to fly commercial medium to long distance flights while having the chance to learn some basic start up and flight procedures. This product is highly reccomended for sim pilots who eventually want to work their way up to the pmdg type products but need to step in between.

Learning heavies (commercial jets) is fairly simple once you learn the procedures. They rely more on procedures vs. hands-on flying like GA aircraft.If you ever want to make the leap to PMDG and similar complex addons, please, check out my Youtube channel. While the things covered in my tutorials might not be 100% authentic, they should at least, give you a good starting point for complex addons that will allow you to expand your education further. The hardest part in learning something new is knowing where to start... :(
