  1. Would anyone care to share their Ezdok camera set for the CJ? For some reason, I can't seem to make a set that I like for this aircraft. Thanks!
  2. Thanks Ray I appreciate it!!

Thanks in advance! Matt
  4. Hey guys, I recently had to do a complete windows / FSX reinstall and lost all my profiles. Does anyone care to share their EzDok profile for the Lear?
  5. Hi Ken, I've recently came across this thread it got very interested. I just joined Elite Air Taxi but I was also wondering if you had any staff position available? I am a real world pilot and also work for the second largest fractional provider so I feel that I could be a good asset to your Part 135 VA. If you don't have any positions available, no worries. I'm happy to be a part of the VA as a pilot. Feel free to message me if you'd like to chat further. Best, Matt
  6. Hey guys, I was wondering if any of the PFPX users have a profile for the LJ24B. Thanks!
  7. Looking really good. Very excited to fly this one.
  8. Hey guys, I'm going to be ordering a new PC this week. I had to sell my last sim rig about 2 years ago and for the last 6 months I've been running FSX on my i5 ASUS laptop. While it's certainly usable, not ideal by any stretch. This is the system that I'm looking at putting together. I'm unfortunately extremely limited on budget, so I'm trying to do the best I can. i5 4690k Devils Canyon (3.5 stock, I'd like to get to 4.5 - 4.6) Corsair H100i 240mm cooler MSI Z97S mobo MSI GTX 960 HyperFx 1600 DDR3 8GB 60GB SSD for FSX (I'll upgrade capacity as soon as budget allows) I'm looking to get a smooth 30fps in most situations. I fly mostly general aviation aircraft in the US. Full ORBX / FTX and UTX. I'd like to use REX4 and Soft Clouds. I'm not looking to max every slider, as I don't believe there is much benefit. I actually like the way my sim looks now on the laptop for the most part. The main areas that I want to improve are the micro stutters, increasing weather, and sharper textures. I would also like to try P3D V2.4. Any opinions? My budget is $1000 USD. Is there any area that I could do better? Thanks guys! Matt
  9. I'm sorry if this has been discussed somewhere already but I couldn't seem to find it. After SP1, I'm finding that the aircraft needs A LOT of nose down trim on departure and cruise. Before SP1 I actually thought the trim behavior was fairly accurate. I have 25 real world hours in the right seat of a C550 and I remember almost always needing about 2.0 degrees of nose up trim on take off. Is anyone else having this issue?
  10. Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has a PFPX profile the for Conquest? Thanks! Matt
  11. Nice! Thank you.

1600 gave me a perfect start. The JT15 starts cool, 450-500*C. But my ITT on take off and cruise was low. I'm going to try 1800 later.

Very nice! AirEd is still available in the library. http://library.avsim.net/search.php?...root&Go=Search
  14. Looking forward to it!
  15. Looks great Dave. Feel free to share your panel cfg
  16. Hey guys, Here is a link for the S550 Type Certificate Data Sheet which gives lots of useful info that is void from the documentation. The S550 info starts on page 21. Also, if anyone is good at making PFPX Profiles, I'd love a profile the her. Matt
  17. Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone had a good EzDok profile set up for the PC12? I have my cameras set up pretty good, but I can't seem to get RND and DHM to where I like. Thanks! Matt
  18. Wow that's great! It sure is amazing.
  19. Hello, Yesterday I had a very long write up on my initial reactions to the NGX and just before I was about to post, I accidentally deleted it instead. I don't feel as though I can type all of that again so I will just point out a few things here... Performance (not frame rates, but performance) I really just can't believe how well this airplane performs. I'm not talking about the actual frame rate number here because if I were to stare at the frame counter I might actually be disappointed. For me, on my machine which the specs are in my signature, I see frame rates in the low 20's. While to some this may not be ideal or even down right unacceptable, this product is no ordinary add-on. I believe that the code is just so well written and rock solid that the PC resources are being used properly. In just about any other add-on aircraft, I get stable 30FPS locked with the external limiter. However, while making turns on the ground I usually see small stutters and also small stutters during weather changes. I believe that I have my FSX optimized very well as I do run a lot of add-ons and demand a lot from my machine during flying. The NGX is different though. I see much lower frame rate numbers but the stutters are gone. While taxing at Imaginesim KATL, I see no stutters or performance "lag" at all. Flying into serious wx, same thing, smooth as can be. I've been trying to figure out how an add-on with so much detail could achieve this level of performance. I think that the code is just so optimized that while the airplane demands a good amount of computer resources, the PC is processing those demands in an extremely efficient and organized manner thus resulting in a very smooth flying experience. Visuals:We all know and have known how stunning the detail and texture resolution is within the VC of this airplane. But the thing that I had no idea about was the font and color on the CDU and DU's and also the overall look of the LCD screens themselves. This, for right now is my favorite part of the airplane. The font and color along with annunciator lights, for me, are really what make that immersion factor. I have about 9 hours on the airplane so far and have not had one problem. I have owned and flown just about every commercial simulation product of the 737 family and have come to know the airframe very well. This knowledge and familiarity has proved to make the NGX experience so much more enjoyable. To be able to operate an aircraft that will exercise the commands that I've given it to near perfection is just amazing. I can't tell you how frustrating it's been over the years attempting to operate this airframe as close to RW procedures as possible just to be let down due to either FS limitations or insufficient software programming. Some software developers can't really be blamed for the lack of "substance" within their 737 products because at the time, they were cutting edge and "as good as it gets." PMDG took the status quo and punted it so far out of site with this release, it's mind blowing. In my opinion PMDG has forever changed the face of consumer based flight simulation. I would like to thank the staff, testers, and friends that make up the PMDG family for this heart stopping product. Regards,
  20. I was having that same issue with FsCopilot but running the XML editor fixed the issue. http://flightsim.apo.../dllxmlorder.pl
  21. Just a quick question for the RW NG drivers that are among us. Is the use of the HGS at pilot discretion? Do most US operators use the HGS for most approaches regardless of weather? I apologize if this has either been discussed or is in some documentation somewhere, I am at the office and was just curious. Thanks!

  23. Great update! Thank you to PMDG and more importantly thank you to the families of the PMDG staff members for allowing them to be so committed to this project. I think it's pretty cool that one single add on will be such a game changer for the serious sim pilot. I wonder how many VA's that operate the NG have had increased membership request since the NGX production announcement.
  24. Thanks Robert. Yeah I did a full defrag using O&O v10. I don't see any point to upgrade to v12. Anyways, this is the first time I've done a reinstall on the same machine and I was pretty surprised to see my defrag take about a full day and a half. I've read so many threads about people having massive problems after reinstalling FSX; I was most worried about simconnect as I have two client machines in my network but all is well. Thanks
  25. Thanks for the input guys. Sounds like about the same order as I've always had them.
