  1. +2 for Philippine Airlines
  2. A console version mightn't actually be a bad idea you know. Having set hardware that can easily be troubleshooted for, and less costly in terms of upgrades too. As long as current peripherals work it could be good. Ok shoot me down now lol.
  3. Haha I suspected as much. Your wife did an excellent job! Are all these people (pilots, FAs etc) friends of yours, or did you put out a job search?
  4. Thanks for the replies! Are the flight attendant and dispatcher calls part of the GSX program too? Or did you voiceover those?
  5. Hi A2S, Firstly, a huge congratulations for your training. I've just watched part 8 and have loved every minute of it. Secondly, do you use a separate program for your ground vehicles etc. (i.e. the pushback trucks and the guys waving you in) or is that part of those airport packages? Thanks, James
  6. Quick question - how is data actually sent from the base to the airplane?
  7. Thanks all very much for the replies so far, you're all very generous. I'll definitely look into crossing the Tasman sea, but if SYD-MEL is done in real life that will be high my list of regular flights. SYD- Brisbane will be good too. Cheers Jason. I was more into the real-life sectors to get an idea of what is realistically done with the plane, so now that I know that short sectors are possible I'll look into utilising those airports as well (I've got ORBX's payware versions for most of them). James
  8. Hi All, I'm just wondering if any of you know of short 777 connecting flights in Australia. I'm not a fan of long-haul and am looking for some realistic short routes to fly in Australia with this aircraft. I've flown Philippine Airlines' A340 from MEL to SYD on my way to Manila, so am looking for similar such routes. Thanks very much for your help! James
  9. Just heard from a real-world Dash-8 pilot that yes, Flaps 15 are used for most landings and 35 only for short runways
  10. Thanks for that, flaps 15 from now on it is!
  11. Yeah that bouncing happened to me too with 35 degrees, but not with 15. If 15 is adequate for landing, I wonder why there is 35 degrees available?
  12. Hello All, I'm a little confused as to the best flaps setting for landing this bird. The sample flight tutorial says to land with flaps 15, and this in my opinion is the most stable flaps setting for landing. When I try landing with flaps 35 she becomes very difficult to control, particularly with the speed. In real operations, do pilots land with flaps 15 or 35? Thanks very much, James
  13. Yep. I might try a complete re-install and see what happens.
  14. Hi Everyone, Every time I go to select the C90B in P3D 1.4, P3D crashes. This doesn't happen with my other aircraft. I have SP2 installed. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
  15. Having this problem too, with a 1gb 5850 in EyeFinity.
  16. The file doesn't exist any longer. If I could make a suggestion, I recommend using Dropbox, and putting this into the Public folder. Then you can right-click on the file and grab the public link, which you can place here for us :)
  17. Thanks! This was causing me no end of headaches, and I'm tempted to think my install of Prepar3d did it.
