  1. I had major stutters a week or so ago which prior to that was butter smooth. I decided to delete my rolling cache and poof, stutters gone. Not sure if anything changed with the bing maps since the 2024 release which may have caused problems with any “older” data on the rolling cache.
  2. I believe it has to do with taxiway and runway elevations. The user aircraft will adhere to the ups and downs of the taxiways and runways smoothly but it seems AI aircraft follows a less detailed contour map (more jagged) so the AI aircraft follows a step up and down while moving……probably to save frames.

Thanks for the update.....I'm still waiting on fspilotshop to catch up.

Any clue on when 2.2 is heading off to the vendors for download? I'm anxious to get my hands on it considering the numerous fixes.
  5. Just got the email as well. Searched the forums but didn't find a change log. Can anyone help me out?
  6. Good day all. Just noticed that 2.2 was released yesterday (04 MAR) however on checking fspilotshop to redownload the new version, the old 2.1 is still on their servers. Requesting a timeframe for when 2.2 would be sent out.
  7. In Pfpx's options, use ASN as the wx source. That way, pfpx will plan your flt using the exact wx that's going to be loaded in the sim. Just remember to start up ASN before planning a flt using PFPX.
  8. The reason is because you have two DISPLAY entries: [DISPLAY.Device.Intel® HD Graphics.0] Mode=1920x1080x32 TriLinear=1 [DISPLAY.Device.Intel® HD Graphics.0.0] Mode=1920x1080x32 The ".0" is directx 9 and "0.0" is directx 10 Every DISPLAY entry you have in your cfg essentially splits up the frames; in this case you added a second one, the "0.0" which was when you selected directx 10 which halved your frame rate. Delete the second DISPLAY entry and whenever you want to switch to DX10, add a ".0" to the first one making it from [DISPLAY.Device.Intel® HD Graphics.0] to [DISPLAY.Device.Intel® HD Graphics.0.0]
  9. Make sure no other hardware is attached to the brakes command (eg if you have another joystick plugged in). Additionally you can add a little deadzone to the brakes axis so that even if you just slightly touch either of the toe brakes, they won't apply.
  10. It could also be the APU. Developers use the APU as another engine so if it is running at the gate with engines off, it will have the same visual effect as the actual engine running and blowing water on the ground.

www.fsdreamteam.com They have most of the major airports of the island chain at incredible detail. Be advised the scenery requires lots of computer resources if you plan to fly a 737 into them plus they are a bit pricey, but worth the cost.
  12. Thanks. I'll give it a shot but on the page to submit the ticket, PMDG advised that the ticket system was for product reactivations only.
  13. I'm posting on the forum because of a lack of direct support for non-software based products. It's directed to the PMDG staff. I was just wondering the normal delivery times for the ngx manuals. I placed the order for the captain's set on the 9th of January and got a tracking number soon after. Within a week, the package arrived in Miami. However when I opened the package (I noticed it the box was smaller than expected), it was just the QRH (the color upgrade). I was wondering how long after the rest of the manuals would arrive, considering it's coming up to a month that I've purchased the set.
