  1. It's one I'm already working on for another project and I'll certainly be doing it for my PMDG NGX.I've posted here before as to my intentions of doing Ozzie liveries.Frank Cooper
  2. That's the yoke I have Stewart and it's one of the best on the market.Works faultlessly with all my add-ons and it should have no problems with the NGX (IMHO).It was worth 1200 bucks when I bought it, but I paid less than half of that.I would have been happy to pay the 1200, it's that good!Frank Cooper
  3. I wrote to Carenado about my experience (complete computer crash-restart) when I first purchased a week or so back.I struggled to get it running and every flight ended in a complete computer crash.I've had a very stable FSX for over a year and running a lot of payware aircraft, including the almost complete Carenado fleet.I tried in vain to have a complete flight but it didn't happen, so I uninstalled, but damage had been done to FSX and I ended up having to re-install FSX.After the re-install, I added my aircraft back one by one and the C340 was one of the last to re-install.It is now working fine and I've not had a single problem with it.Not really sure what the problem was, but just glad to have it all working again and the C340 to fly around with. It's a superb aircraft and one I didn't want to miss,Frank Cooper
  4. I bought one recently and while I'm not a pilot, I've flown quite a bit.I've also had hours in the real 737 sim and the PFC is the closest thing I've ever seen or used to the real thing.I'm sure I'm not on my own here. The quality of build, feel and sheer immersion of this product make it one of the best investments (apart from my most recent acquisition, a VRAircraft throttle quadrant) I've ever made for flight sim.Frank Cooper
  5. People flow is actually bundled in the new Bundaberg airport.Take it from me, the first time you see these figures walking around, you know they are cracking the future of flight simming.Their R&D and the decisions they make are changing this industry forever.Frank Cooper
  6. ......and the hydraulic pumps would cavitate.Frank Cooper
  7. There looks to be an easier and cheaper way to do it than that. I've just purchased a 7" USB touch screen that works with Windows 7 64 bit. With specialised software that will launch very shortly, you should be able to drag the FMC and resize it to the 7" screen and use it as if it were the real thing. The screen cost 200 bucks, the software is 60 bucks. The cheapest FMC that I know of, on the market starts at 500+ bucks and you can easily pay 2000 for some models.Of course, at the moment this is pure speculation, but I should know if it's feasible by weeks end,Frank
  8. This is one of the first posts I've made here about the NGX.I come here once, maybe twice or three times a day, looking for NGX content in the way of announcemnets or info about the upcoming aircraft.I couldn't agree more with what Luke has just said. It's a shame that such a professional outfit has a forum that is so full of nonsense.I, like so many, are eagerly awaiting the NGX. I have done a stack of Ozzie paints for the J41 and am looking forward to doing the same for the NGX.I'll certainly be glad when it does arrive.Frank Cooper
  9. It's because you are utilising the surround game facility.Turn it off for a more stright forward image.Unfortunately you will have a more zoomed in window, so you will have to make a choice which you like better.Personally, I have flown for some time with the surround game scenario, but since I loaded Win 7, I've gone for the natural screen display and I think I like it more,Frank
  10. Hi Butch,Another top notch production, mate.I'd like this one when it's finished, if ya don't mind?Thanx and all the Seasons Greeting from this end, too,Frank
  11. Just checked it out, Kev.That's a great little checklist. I'm gonna take your advice and print and laminate it and keep it on my desk for quick reference.Again, thanx,Frank
  12. Thanx Kev,That's awfully nice of you,Frank
  13. Thanx Vin,I appreciate your help on this. I've got a nice Ozzie Customs paint that I've been flying for a few days, but I did as you said and used the Hong Kong folder.I'll also have a play around with the AHKG suffix thing as well and see if I can't get it to work. It really is a great add-on craft and a shame not to paint it as well,Thanx again,Frank
  14. Just wanted to say, Jim, your paints are first rate and the way you knock them out is unbelievable.Kind Regards,Frank
  15. Hi Alex,Just wanted to say, I worked out my problem with your livery. It turns out that in the cfg file I had an erroneous error. One of the ([)'s was missing off a livery (about half way down my list) and every livery after that was not showing.I went back in last night, spotted the error, corrected it and now 'bob's your uncle', everything is all right. It's a great paint and I'll be taking a few pics of it for the FTX site soon,Keep up the good work, mate,Frank
  16. I also had a go at this, Butch, but they've done a sneaky with this livery. I did an Australian Customs model but couldn't get the sensors to show up.Come on guys, what's the trick? It's a brilliant looking add-on.Frank
  17. You might wanna check this with somebody else, but I couldn't get it to display.I ended up taking the main textutre sheet out and dumping it in one of mine and it showed up all right, so not sure if you have a problem or I do.Either way, I've got it working and it fits in well with all my other Ozzie paints.Frank
  18. Jim,Just wanted to add my two cents worth.Your paints are top notch and the FedEx is a real winner. You have a real talent, my friend!Frank
  19. Here are a few of my (mainly) Ozzie paints for the J41.Rex Original:URL:http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?app=dow...mp;showfile=785City of Tamworth Rex Airlines Livery (Fictional):URL:http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?app=dow...mp;showfile=786Impulse Airlines Livery :URL:http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?app=dow...mp;showfile=750Binter Canarias Airlines Livery:URL:http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?app=dow...mp;showfile=872Hope you all enjoy,Frank
  20. Vin,Have been waiting for the paint kit to send my repaints to PMDG. Is it essential or can it be done before you release the paint kit? They are each individually packaged as per the other liveries on your site.Frank
  21. Thanx Vin.Sorry about the insinuation. Must be getting a little paranoid in my old age. Here's the pics again,Frank
  22. No. I had an earlier pic pulled because of the size limit of 256 k, so I reworked them and the two that were displayed above were around 200k.I'm thinking I might be treading on toes, but nobody wants to say.I'll come back here when the paint kit is released and post again, Frank
  23. Is there a problem with posting my livery pictures here? They were here this morning.Frank
  24. Probably get a smack over the knuckles here, as my earlier shot was taken down, but I've done 3 Aussie paints for the J41.The first was the Impulse Airlines aircraft, followed by a Rex (fictional) and a Rex "City of Tamworth" repaint.I would like to make them available to PMDG, but there isn't any paint kit or any way to submit them yet. Here's a few pics for the Ozzies amongst you:Frank
