  1. I tried the FSUIPS and it's ok... But I limited to 8 degrees the movement of the front wheel through the rudder pedals (which is the aproximately the real value), and the steering tiller is also limited 8 degrees now. Is there a way to make the rudder pedals to move the front wheel only 8 degrees, but also a steering tiller able to move the front wheel 60 degrees? Thanks, Teo Halfen
  2. Is there a way to implement a steering wheel in the NGX? I'm using the keyboard and a joystick, no special hardware... Thanks, Teo Halfen
  3. I think the air flowing more slowly over the wings and stablilasers also make the NG (like any other aircraft) more prone to be unstabilized by meteorological factors. Another factor of instability during these fases are the deployment of flaps and landing gear.
  4. Whenever I fly the NG as a passenger, I notice how unstable it is during TOs and landings, but how stable it is during cruise, climb and decend. So, is it possible to have this king of behavior in the FSX? Because I see the NGX is too stable during TOs and landings. Or maybe it has more to do with wind/thermals not being realistically modeled in the FSX? Teo Halfen
  5. This is a real operation (unfortunately from an Airbus A320, as I didn't find a similar video of a 737 NG), but it shows how insensitive is a sidestick operation, I think the NGX should have a similar behaviour when flying with a joystick, though it may get much more "insensitive" and realistic with a yoke. Teo Halfen
  6. I know that changing the .cgf file voids PMDG support, but I saved the original .cfg file. I imagine the NGX is too stable when flying manually, so I changed the stability and effectiveness parameters, but the side-effect was some oscillations with the autopilot. I'm just wondering whether changing some parameter in the autopilot .cfg would make it more stable. Teo Halfen
  7. Many times when I'm preparing to land that yellow master caution light comes on, but it seems there is nothing wrong thith the configuration. Why does that happen? Thanks,
  8. Active Sky and REX are just make up, unable to provide windshear, a real met radar or simulate meteorology with some realism.
  9. Maybe Prepar3d? Let's hope.... I will only buy Prepare3d when they improve FSX weather realism....
  10. In 2006, a Learjet 35 crashed soon after taking off from Campo de Marte (Sao Paulo, Brazil) allegedly due to fuel imbalance: http://www.pprune.org/biz-jets-ag-flying-ga-etc/299010-lear-35-crashes-into-houses-sao-paulo.html * My cousin, who is a 737 NG captain, had troubles with fuel pumps on a flight some years ago and had to land with almost twice the allowed fuel imbalance for the 737-800. But he said to me the 737-800 is able to fly with any fuel imbalance. * In the aircraft mechanics couse I'm attending, the instructor doubted a 737 could fly with much fuel imbalance. * So, what is your opinion? Thanks, Teo Halfen
  11. It's a vulture. The pilot comments: "look, there is a bird there"... Some seconds after: "there's a flock right in front, can you see?" Then he jokes they ended with the birds fun and inform the tower about "many birds on approach"
  12. That's the most common approach for the 20L: The chart: http://www.aisweb.aer.mil.br/arquivos/cartas/emenda/sbrj_iac_rnav--gnss--a-rwy-02-20_20111020.pdf?CFID=3df79467-55b9-4970-b808-0b21152a5513&CFTOKEN=0
  13. I noted that the memory NGX uses in the "windows XP 32 bit" goes at nearly 1500 Mb, while complex addons go to nearly 600 Mb. But is there a good frame rate gain too with 'windows 7 64 bit'?
  14. Is there a way to enable HUD in the 2D cockpit? Teo Halfen
  15. How does the NGX perform on these systems? What differences you noted? I'm planning to change to "Windows 7 64 bit", as recommended by PMDG. Teo Halfen
  16. My cousin is a 737 NG capitain and he said that some addons for the fsx are more accurate and realistic then the certified training simulators his company gives to him for training at his PC. Teo Halfen
  17. Wow, that's a lot cheaper than what I thought it would be. For the time I will dedicate to study the 737NG systems, that's really almost nothing.Teo Halfen
  18. Thanks for the answers....Just asking about the technical possibility of a software like "Active Sky" to integrate a weather radar over PMDG's navigation display... and simulate dangerous thunderstorms like the real ones... it's always great fun to deviate from them... or paying the price for trying to cross them.Teo Halfen
  19. We know some softwares that try to make FSX weather more real: winds, freezing, turbulence etc... But how real are they? I think most of them don't simulate real thunderstorms or the severe damages a thunderstorm can cause to an aircraft. Could a software integrate this "real" weather with PMDG's navigation display? Thanks,Teo Halfen
  20. Hello, I mean: the realistic simulation of the landing gear's bouncing and suspension. For exemple: ThanksTeo Halfen
  21. Realistic suspensionJust wondering wheter PMDG team will be able to make a realistic suspension for the NGX... 99,99% of the aircrafts for the FSX don't have a realistic suspension model as far as I´m aware. Thanks,Teo Halfen
  22. When I said "centering with the mouse" I meant neutralizing the ailerons. So, that means X-Plane's Cessna stays banked when you neutralize the aileron during a roll, while a real Cessna swings back to level. That's something I didn't know about real aerodynamics and that shows X-Plane aerodynamics has this yet to solve fault.Thank you!
  23. This is an amazing aircraft! I'm getting to the conclusion that this kind of aerodynamics is normal in X-Plane, although I don't know whether it's normal in real flight. I was controlling the aircraft through the mouse and it seems that this sudden stop on the rolling when you center the ailerons is normal, at least for the smaller aircrafts.Thank you!
