  1. I have this doubt since many years ago... How can someone get real flight dynamics data like lift coefficient vs angle of attack of aircrafts like the 737? Are these data a company secret or can be purchased? How flight simulator companies get them?
  2. The price isn't that much important. Majestic DASH 8 training version is 149 Euro and I think this is very affordable if you are studing the airplane in depth...
  3. Maybe PMDG could launch a NGX v.2 for P3D with more failures plus CB simulation intended for real training, similar to what Majestic has done... Don't know the viability of this, but it would be really cool...
  4. Maybe this: http://worldairlinenews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/boeing-737-max-cockpit-boeinglr.jpg
  5. Thanks for your answer. Last night I had a bus failure (don't remember which) that triggered many other failures. I really didn't know what was happening until I searched in the "failures page", which is non-existent in the real aircraft... So, I see that diagnosing a failure in the NG is not an easy task... Thanks
  6. So, what's the purpose of this circle? How pilots make it appear? Does the NGX have this? Thanks
  7. In the A320, we have the ECAM warnings, which tells us the exact cause of a failure and the measures to take. What about the 737NG? Has the pilot to diagnose the problem by his knowledge and refer to the manual to take the measures? In this case, which manual? Thanks
  8. Why these 2 programs? What PFPX can't do?
  9. Perfect scenery indeed... When Oculus Rift is launched, it will be very nice to make those visual approaches into Santos Dumont...
  10. What I can say is that it's not safe to fly without the weather radar anymore... I think the NGX lacks some turbulence sounds...
  11. The trial for FSX is released: http://www.hifitechinc.com/downloads
  12. http://www.fspilotshop.com/fsps-frictionality-p-4760.html We all know FSX addons have problems with the ground friction, and that the NGX can't taxi with idle power. Anyone tested this with the NGX?
  13. Hope we always have at least 2 options. Competition is what propels evolution.
  14. Wow... After 1000 topics about this subject and 10 years waiting, it`s the first time I read something that is not like "this can't be done" or "this is useless"... So, let's wait for Active Sky Next...
  15. So, Active Sky Next is in final beta and it may be released before the end of this year: http://www.hifitechinc.com/products/activeskynext Tell me the next update of the NGX will come with a weather radar in the ND? Thanks, Teo Halfen
  16. Many cities are now 3d in Google Earth. So, is there a way we could transform this Google Earth detailed 3d mesh and images into bgl? Unfortunately FS Eath Tiles only imports images... Teo Pereira
  17. Thanks for the information, very helpful. I didn't know the 737-8 was 180 ETOPs...
  18. Would be nice to see such flight planing... Diversions are far away...
  19. I've been waiting for this for years... Besides this astonishing achievement, an interesting feature would be to add an option of "variable winds" on the approach, because wind rarely is constant on the approach. Thanks, Teo Halfen
  20. An NGX good update would be enough by now for me... That's an aircraft that doesn't get me tired...
  21. I use FSrealWX lite, it's free, light and updated frequently. It has an option to generate slighly gusty surface winds, something OPUS and ASA don't have...On approach, wind isn't constant, but always changing direction and speed. Teo Halfen
  22. In the simulation, I was taking off with 63.8 tons (175 passengers and 3.800 tons baggage) and 5000 kg of fuel. I bumped the power to 27k and applied almost full power before releasing the breaks. TOPCAT indicated that the optimal take off would be with flaps 25. Take off was easy with an engine failure at v1.
  23. Some days ago, I took off (not in a simulator) from SBSP (Congonhas, São Paulo - runway extension 1940 m - altitude 2630 feet) in a completely passengers full 737-800 SFP and in a rainy day. Later, I simulated this with the NGX 737-800 SFP (26k) and yes, it's possible to take off safely if you loose an engine at V1 and follow the proper procedure. Teo Halfen
