Exactly. No point just saying the Hydraulics have to be on prior to pushback and start, JUST because the checklist says so (random example). Why do they have to be on? My favourite is when they just calmly move over and away from a switch whilst saying "That's not used much"..... LOL

First official flight, probably between my two main bases - being Heathrow and Dubai. That might be on release day. But will depend what time of the day it gets released. Probably spend a few hours exploring/testing - getting all my settings correct - a panel state for my flights etc.

I'll put it down to a preference/habit. My NGX panel state is just a slightly modified 'Long' panel state that PMDG give you. I have the GPU & Air connected from start up - so I start the APU just after the Departure Briefing normally. Don't worry - we'll be starting with the GPU connected on my B777 tutorials (-;

I remember Rob saying in January they want to have a full B744 simulator in the office. I presume that'll help them help others put the product in their own simulators.

I don't! It's a short montage video - music makes it a little more exciting. With the GoPro in the 777's flight deck - nothing like the sound of sitting next to one of those GE90's. Mostly muffled Aircon sounds from where it was placed! But, that music isn't everybodies taste - since it's hard to accommodate for everyone these days.

Or you can try and work out how many different types of engines you can fit in one GE90-110B Okay - we haven't had a preview since last month...... :LMAO: :LMAO:

I really wished PMDG had the time to develop a completely fake CPDLC system ha. I would have loved to seen that - maybe a 3rd party developer will one day look into it? Could be mistaken, but I think you can use the cancel button to clear EICAS messages. I could be wrong though - since I've never had the chance to personally do it

I figured out how to basically just use it in the VC and love it. Still able to pan around the spot view and passenger views! Not even sure how I did it - by accident really LOL.

Wait - who said it wasn't in beta? Rob stated about a million times last year they were never planning on even mentioning the words 'Beta Testing' in the 777's development. Which they've successfully achieved over a year later. I highly, highly doubt release is longer than two months away - especially with Rob's comments on the forum. The way this whole preview was wrote, seems evident they have an extreme robust and 'practically finished' 777 on their hands. Seems this wait has been completely easy compared to the NGX! I pray for you all awaiting the 744v2 that she isn't too far behind (-:

Hopefully a video next. I think Rob said something similar - there's only so much more photos can show now. Hopefully no attacks on release - unlike what I read about the NGX!!

I don't think PMDG know how the 777 will 100% perform until they have the final release candidate.

I don't think PMDG have a massive problem with this thread so far. Everyone's talking in a complete non-serious jokingly manner. No ones demanding dates etc - all fun. I mean, even Rob's joined in twice now! Rather this one big topic than 100 others that get locked daily (-:
