That would be very strange. I have a new legal version of win10. I cant imagine something is missing. I will give it a try though.

Directx 9 doesnt start with me. Fs9 doesnt do anything.

I dont agree with you there. I removed the d3d9.dll from the fs9 folder and everything was back to normal. No fuss there.

Fs9 wont start after installing the reshader. It doesnt react. I dont what it could be. Update: I checked the wrong thing in the start. There was something with a 9 and a 10. I checked the "10" and now it starts.

It looks great. I tried it earlier this evening (before you started this topic) because I was looking for sweetfx 2.0. It directed me to the same program you come up with. I downloaded it and installed it in my fs9. I tried to start fs9 but it didnt do anything. I wouldnt even give me a warning or log or error. It just wouldnt start. I believe it has something to do with Sweetfx I installed earlier. There is a file inside the fs9 (cant recall, it has some "3's" in it and it ends with .dll. That file belongs to Sweetfx. I deleted it and fs9 starts like it always did. I think Im going to delete all previous Sweetfx files and try reshade again. Maybe some old Sweetfx files are messing up with reshade, I dont know. Hi guys, This question may be a large n00b question but Im going to do it: A few weeks ago I did a complete reinstall of fs9 because I migrated to Windows 10 and now Im looking for the best settings to get the best views in my fs9. Here comes the n00b-part. I was searching this forums for something and I came across Sweetfx. I had never used this addon and this week I decided to give a try. What a beautiful addon it is!!! I searched for some settings and flew some nice routes. Everything looks very fine but for one thing Im not happy. The edges of my aircraft are not that sharp anymore. I have AA unchecked in my flightsim. I use Nvidia inspector to get that covered. That was a great solution, Nvidia made the edges sharp. Since I have installed Sweetfx the edges are not that sharp anymore. Can you help me with this? Is there some kind of forum-thread where I can find the ideal settings for fs9 for Nvidia and Sweetfx? I agree on that. Im a fs9 user, Im a simmer who likes busy airports with up to date ai-traffic and sometimes I spend more times updating the traffic than flying. Everyone has their flaws ;-) I also have so much addons on my sim, the most important reason that I stay with fs9. It runs great, beautiful framerates also on busy airports and indeed no oom's or ctd's. I think my pc can handle fsx or p3d but I spent so much time tweaking fs9 that I will stay with it for a long time.

Did you gave up on the entire plane or just the fmc? Its a pity that the fmc is not complete, the flightplan is filled in automatically and cannot ne adjusted in a extensive way.

I gave it a go yesterday and bought it. For me 19 euros is not that ammount that gives me headaches. Im not dissappointed. Dont expect a Quality Wings or iFly product but its nice. It flies well and it is easy to understand. The livery I flew with yesterday (CRJ200 American Eagle NC) is not very accurate imho. I havent checked the other liveries but the ammount is massive. For me this plane is a welcome part of my collection.

Hi there, its actually not that hard to find the posky and tds planes. Go to the avsim library and look for "posky" and "tds" and you will find many examples of repaints containing the original aircraft. https://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=Tds+&CatID=fs2004ac&Go=Search

I will try adding it manually. Never done that before with a scenery but it can't be that difficult.

This thread made me download it today and I tried to install it but it wont work. I cant add it to the scenery library in fs9 menu.

I have no intentions to rebuild a complete airport. My plan was to make new afcads for airports like Kennedy and LAX. I want to give the airlines the proper gates where they belong to.

Hi guys, Just a simple question. I have never made an afcad but sometimes I read that some of you make afcads. Is it difficult? I would like to give it a try because sometimes I hate it watching planes standing at some cargo area instead of a gate. How do I make an afcad?

There you go. Thats the best reason to keep simming fs9. All those other reasons like good frame rates and no CTD's are nonsense.

I re-read my post and I found out that I said something about Jcai and AIG that can be interpreted in the wrong way. What I meant is that at these sites is visible how many fs9 downloads there are in compirason to fsx. Still a lot of fs9 downloads so there are still very very many people who are using fs9. I still have some silent hope that one day a developer will stand up and starts making beautiful new sceneries for fs9. :-)

The fs9 market is totally loaded with stuff so it is not interesting to make new products. In the usa almost every airport has a version in fs9. I think Europe is also pretty complete. Fs9 is a typical flightsim for busy airports, lots of ai and runs very good for people who love to fly airliners. There are still a lot of downloads for fs9 for example at jcai.dk and the specific flightplan area at AIG. I really think it is sad that the big developers have stopped making addons for fs9. Airports like Memphis and Seattle would have been great fun for me in fs9. No problem. I still use the beautiful FlyTampa KSEA and thats just fine. But a new version would have been nice. I have a high end pc. I gave fsx a try but in the normal install without tweaking it gave me a feeling that it was not okay to run. So I unistalled fsx and started fs9 again. Fully tweaked, fully loaded with tons and tons of ai-traffic, all the eye-candy addons, all my beautiful aircraft. It runs like a dream, also at the busiest airports like JFK and ORD. No way. I will not make the next step to another sim.

I just uninstalled two add-on managers from FSDT. In some strange way there were two different versions. I dont know what happened here. Did a fresh download and made a flight to Kennedy. No issues, all buildings are in shape and the problem seems to be solved. Thanks for your help!!!!
