Missing Turbine Sound?
Same problem here. On several occasions I have lost the switch sounds also. The only way I can get them back is to restart my computer. the switch issue my be due to my seven year old dell XPS Gen 4 running 32 bit windows XP. I am not sure what the specs. are on my machine but I know it has 4 gig memory and Nvidia 9500 GTX graphics card.

I'll take one :Loser:

Engine Shutdown time
I think it is a bit too long also. I have flown in King Airs and propeller spin down does seem to be quite a bit shorter on the real thing.
- Service Pack 1 has been released.

German Repaint request with a long Story
I, too fell in love with the C90B at a young age. It and the DC-3 are my favorites of all time. If I knew how to repaint, I would do it today but I will wait until someone else does it and proudly add it to my fleet. Thanks for the story. I guess I was not alone. I love its shape, its sound and its smell, all thing's found in a fine woman. (well sort of)

crashing
Update on the above. I did as Carenado suggested and moved the carsound.dll file from my guages folder. No more crashes. YEA! The airplane loades and closes now without FSX shutting down. I must commend Carenado on their very rapid response to my question. HOWEVER, you will be losing your switch sounds. Carenado did tell me that they are going to release a patch for the problem soon. I have elected to go with no switch sounds until the patch. I just hated the crashes.

crashing
I too was getting the "flight simulator has encountered a problem and must now close" when I would end a fligh and sometimes when I would load the airplane. I sent Carenado a request for help and within 20 minutes I had recieved a reply. The told me to try moving the "carsound.dll" from the guages foulder. I am at work and unable to ry this fix yet but I will give it a try as soon as I get home. I am very pleased with Carenados rapid response, plus they gave me more downloads as I had used the others rying to fix the issue.

Not using fuel.
I have taken several multi hour flights but the fuel guages stay on full. Does anyone know how to correct this?

Helicopter door problem
I was having a similar problem with my helicopters. It turned out to be due to me not having the Accleration pack installed. I still dont have the Acceleration pack so I just deal with it. The helicopters I was having the issues with were the later model Nemeth Broths. aircraft.

Panel color
The ones I worked on were grey.

My Planes pieces are scrambled...any ideas?
I had that problem with a different aircraft, it turned out that I did not have the FSX service pack 2 installed.

CS B52 Full version out
I love the looks of this airplane. I like flying the thing but I, like JIMJAM, am having problems with the auto pilot. I cant get the heading hold finction to work and the heading bug runs away on me too. Altitude hold functions fine but turning on the heading hold switch does nothing. I have not had time to sit down and study the manual in great detail but have glanced at it which was the only way I could locate the auto pilot. It does look like a great aircraft and tonight I plan to go home and throughly review the manual. Speed control is also something I need to get used to. It's really quick and climbs like a rocket.

Doors won't open
I have the same problem. I had this same problem with another developers aircraft and it was traced back to me not having the Acceleration add on. The problem was never fixed. I only have SP2. The Caravan looks great, I just cant open any door other than the pilots door. I think this is a great airplane that could be excellent with a service pack addressing the door issue along with the RPM, cruise speed and temp issues that many others have posted about. I know that some have come up with fixes to these problems and have posted them here, but I am a very old guy that is not well versed on how to modify the files inside a program so I would be wise to just leave it alone until a patch is released by Carenado. I have purchased all of their airplanes for both FS9 and FSX and am very happy with them. Hopefully a patch will be released soon for the Caravan. I also want to thank all of you who post on this site. I have learned alot from you and continue to read the posts daily.Mark
