If you think you have found something that's not working.........
Yes I have. I have tried all expressions that I could think of. I have done "extensive" voice training on the "autothrottle disconnect" as I thought that MCE didnt understand my english. Embarrased to say: I just now came to think of the possibilty that my co-pilot actually is asking for confirmation of my request in a way that I dont get. I will have to try "Yes please" as a follow-up next time I am flying.

Autothrottle NGX: When I try to disconnect autothottle using MCE by saying "autothrottle disconnect" or "disconnect autothrottle" my copilot read back my request correctly, but does nothing with the switch (autothrottle stays armed). "autothrottle arm" works perfectly. As do most other things I have tried out in MCE. Kai-Inge

A few difficult commands...
Using my Norwegian-type English I have found out that my computer is not able to tell my "to" from "two" (I guess my-"too"s would confuse Clive too, but I have not tried it very often). Consequently I try to avoid MCE-statements that includes "to". Ie. "Set heading two-one-zero" would work fine, but "Set heading to two-one-zero" is likely to fail for me. Kai

Flight One ATR 72-500, is it still worth for 50 bucks?
I use it in FSX. Its still one of my favourites. Kai-Inge

Autothrottle - thrust
I cannot figure out whether it is possible to set Autothrottle to 'on' and select the mode to 'thrust'. I want to practise landings with the MD-11 with autothrottle as the only "automation". Is this possible? In other airliners in FSX I have found it useful to use autothrottle in speed-mode and controlling the pitch manually Since there is no autothrottle on/off-switch i guess Autoflight has to be selected and I would have to disarm/deselect any active lateral mode and any pitch mode? But still - I find that the aircraft wont let me choose my own autothrottle mode. Any help would be appreciated.

FSX ATC ignore my IFR flight plan
How should I make my flight plan accessible to the FSX ATC?I have tried to load my IFR plan from FSX "load flightplan" in addition to loading and activating it in the fmc of my PMDG md-11.But:After I get my departure IFR permissions from FSX ATC I never get any ATC messages that is in accordance with my filed flight plan.Is it possible to file such a plan and actually follow it without "upsetting" the FSX ATC?RegardsKai
