  1. Hmm....now i would like to see some news or something...!!!
  2. Yes, it´s really quite, but i think it´s ok! I´m completely happy with the T7...sure: I would be so happy if they release the service Pack and the -300ER soon, but i love the -LR! With the 777-200LR i´m able to fly from Germany to Adeldiade in Australia Non-Stop....this is one of the reasons i got the -LR in my fleet ..! I will operate most of the other routes with the -300ER.. I´m sure that we´ll get some awesome news next week
  3. So, is the normal tolerance region? Would you say everything between -50 and -300 fpm VS is smooth and untill -500 is ok?
  4. Hi! I just love the PMDG T7 and i like manual landings but i have some problems during night time. For me, landings during darkness are difficult. I usually have a little bit harder landings if it´s dark because i have to practise night landings^^. Today, FS Flight Keeper told me that my touchdown rate (-VS) was about -275 FPM. Normally i´m happy with -150 or -200. My question: Is a touchdown rate of -275 ok? Thanks for your answers!
  5. GREAT...!!! I just landed at Cairns International Airport (Australia) after a nearly 17 Hour Non-Stop flight (Duesseldorf - Cairns). I did this flight in real time! I just have a little question: For me, manual landings while darkness is very difficult for me. But i´m happy with the landing but FS flight Keeper told me that i had a -V/S Touchdownrate of -275 fpm. Is this ok? Normally i´ve between -150 and -200.
  6. Ok..!! So if i don´t use autostep climb opton: Isn´t it possible that i add a new altitude to a specific waypoint and after i reach the Initial cruise alt, i Change the MCP alt to the "next" altitude? I mean after the airplane reach the waypoint with the next alt, shouldn´t it climb automatically?
  7. Hi! Is there an option in real 777´s (and in the PMDG T7) to proceed automatic step climbs, like it was possible with the MD-11? I´m just asking because if fly a real time longrange route, i usually leave my computer and sometimes i´m not there if have to proceed step climbs. Usually i just enter the new altitude (From 360000 to 380000 FT for example) and after that i change the MCP altitude and after that the aircraft starts with the step climb. The step climb method in the MD-11 is much more comfortable... PS: I don´t mean the auto step climb optio in the fmc, which is a part of time acceleration etc.
  8. Hi...ok...i use LBS, right ...! I am using LBS since i started flightsimming...
  9. Really???Cool.... this is the reason i love the -LR ... I LOVE the huge range of this bird. I can´t really understand why there´s no airline which operate Europe to Australia non stop with the Boeing 777-200lr. What is the reason for that? Really? Thats not the MZFW?! 439.8 ZFW is totally ok i think. The FMC "says" that i can load enough fuel for this route with this ZFW... Am i wrong? So cool...! What was your ZFW?
  10. I´ll fly from Duesseldorf to Adelaide next week. The flight time is about 19 hours and 15801 KM... I will carry up do 301 passengers with their luggage and some extra cargo (ZFW of 439.8). theoretically this non stop route is possible for my 777-200LR with three extra aux tanks, right?
  11. I really hope that we´ll see PMDG Products for Prepar3d in the future. I think Prepar3d is the best solution at the moment because we payed so much money for all our FSX Addons and i´m sure that we don´t want to start with a complete new system (Xplane), where we can´t use our FSX Addons. Okay, Prepar3d isn´t really a NEW simulator, but if we get a better performance and GPU usage in V2, it´ll be a huge step forward.
  12. YES! After you type in your ZFW, the airplane automatically distribute the weight. It could be that the "passenger page" in the fmc shows you that you don´t have the full pax on board but you can be sure that the rest of the weight is at the other sections in the airplane! Your airplane has the weight like you would carry about 362 passengers, with luggage and extra cargo
  13. Okay, i really hope that the´ll add a feature to raise the passenger capacity, but this will be only "nice to have". At this time i calculate a ZFW for my 777-200LR, filled with 301 passengers, their luggage and extra cargo. In your case i would do it this way: 14 first /32 business /316 econ = 362 passengers (OMG!!!^^). This is a weight of 70590 LBS (362X195LBS). Now we have to add the weight of passenger luggage: 23892LBS (362X66LBS). And now you could add some extra cargo. I carry about 17636LBS extra cargo each flight!!! All together is a total payload weight of about 112118 LBS in your case! Now you have to calculate the ZFW: Dry Operation Weight (344.244LBS) + Payload (112.118LBS) = 456.342 ZFW (WOW...heavy^^) After you calculated your specific ZFW, all you have to do is adding this 456.3 ZFW into the FMC. And after that the aircraft is automatically distribute the weights to the sections for getting a good CG. Now your aircraft has the weight like it is carrying 362 passengers with luggage and extra cargo. OH: And don´t forget to add the nedded fuel^^...!
  14. I really think that scandinavian13 and the other users understand you, there is no need to get angry ....! I think PMDG should just change the maximum seating capacity from 234 to 400 (single class) so everyone could load the desired quantity of passengers. Okay: There´s no real 777-200 LR which carry up to 400 seats but theoretical this aircraft could carry 400 passengers in a single class. I think that would be more than enough.
  15. I opened a topic about changing the maximum seating capacity and seating configurations for this airplane! PMDG told me/ us that they try to create the option to setting up different seating configurations for each livery (in the .ini file). I´m sure that we´ll get the possibility to carry more than 234 passengers with our -LR. Okay, weight is weight but it will be a great feature, i think!
  16. Hey, thank you so much for this answer! I have a question: Can you tell me what is the normal cargo weight (between the passenger luggage) of an standard sheduled flight? I mean the "extra" freight...
  17. Okay, so you would say that this is possible and there are no problems with safety?
  18. Okay, that´s cool...! Well, Air Austral has a maximum seating capacity of 362 (WOW!!!) in the Boeing 777-200LR, Normally i set my flaps to 5 for a normal take off, is this standard?
  19. Hi! I red that Air Austral ordered the famous Boeing 777-200 LR, because it´s possible to operate the Route "Myotte - Paris" with full pax and fuel for a flight time of about 9 Hours. They wrote that the -LR is able to take off from this short 2000m runway. Is this true? Is it really possible? But if yes: I think its necessary to standing on the brakes, give full thrust and releasing the brakes, right?
  20. Okay, ok... so: If i wanna do an autoland i have to use flaps 30 and if i wanna land manual, Flaps 25 is recommended?
  21. Hi! Only a few weeks left before we´ll get the V2 of the "new" flightsim. It seems that the performance will be way better etc. I´m really afraid that i will never be able to fly my loved PMDG T7 in this simulator and i´ve got a question for you all: Is there really no chance that PMDG will release their products for Prepar3d...?
  22. Okay, it´s very good to know that we can get some more frames, if we use "your" trick!!! But i just love seeing the huge airplane from outside during a long haul... i really hope that PMDG find a way to increase the performance of our T7...
  23. Ok, maybe this is the reason! But i think that airlines could buy some Boeing 777-200ER instead of the -300ER, if they can´t find enough people to fill this airplane. The -200ER is cheaper as the -LR. I really can´t see the advantage of the 777-200LR. Okay, this aircraft can fly about 17000km but that´s all???? Again: I really love the PMDG 777-200LR and this is my favourite aircraft, but it´s a pity that there are only a few operators.
  24. Hi! First of all: I just love the the PMDG 777-200LR! But i have a question: There are not so many airlines in the real world which operate the Boeing 777-200LR. The Boeing 777-300ER has a range of about 14500KM, which is really enormous. It seems that the 17000KM range of the -LR is not really required, because even the ultra long range route "Dubai-Los Angeles" is possible for with the -300ER. So, can you tell what is the big advantage of the Boeing 777-200LR? I mean the -300ER can carry much more passangers and the range of the Boeing 777-300ER is more that enough, right? Im a little bit confused because Emirates, for example, bought the -200LR for the route Dubai-Los Angeles and now they´re using 777-300ER´s for this route?! I hope that someone can explain me the big advantages of the 777-200LR...
