The last beta patch was meant for performance. So they are. -

Probably why they’ve started adding this disclaimer. The last airport they released also had this warning -

Most people use photogrammetry. Im guessing the terrain is too different between on/off that they can’t make one that fits both -

Did a short hop between KLAS and KLAX with the ini a320N, didn't notice anything glaring. -
it was like 3 years ago, I don't remember which one it was.

IIRC on the Ini discord theys aid it's been Asobo that's late on the patch, they've had it ready for a while. -
It used to be worse, every road in the sim used to have lights. One of the early sim updates changed it so the street lights depend on the population density. So there are less lights in sparsely populated areas then there were at launch. And the sepia night texture used to appear a lot closer to the aircraft than it does now, and it looked terrible. No it hasn't, it has improved.

[RUMOR] MSFS releasing on November
Tuskin38 replied to ca_metal's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
2020 has been on sale a few times since release -
It's a whole new product, they're not going to give existing owners a discount. At least nothing that big.

[RUMOR] MSFS releasing on November

X-Box Games Showcase is June 9th, we'll probably get the release date then. -
The amount of lit up windows on autogen buildings also depends on the time of day. Like you'll see less windows lit at midnight than you would at say 9PM.

They said we'd get Navblue charts for 2020, but it never happened. https://www.navblue.aero/navblue-partners-with-xbox-game-studios-for-microsoft-flight-simulator/ The AIRAC data though is from Navblue.

Microsoft's Game Conference is June 9th, so I think the 2024 Marketing push will start then.

Sim Update 15 Beta Release Notes 1.37.15.0
Tuskin38 replied to Krakin's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Not maybe, it's confirmed. -
So people's eyes are drawn to the more expensive one. It's a marketing tactic. There's a Star Wars MMO game a play occasionally that has an (optional) subscription, and the cancel subscription button is hidden even worse. It's a simple link like that, but you have to scroll way down some blank space before you see it.
-
They were asking you, why if X-Box version is the focus, then why is the base PC version without mods better then it.
-
I just created a new account to test, the navdata only sub link is there
-
Is this no longer accurate?
-
Nope it’s PC first then modified for X-Box
-
We already get free AIRAC updates for 2020, I doubt that will change with 2024
