This really fascinates me. Maybe a little too colorful and bright for my tastes, but it's within budget and would definitely be a step up from the X52. It will be on sale from February 13th for €399. I'm not in a hurry and I'll still wait for the reviews but what a great discovery, thanks so much for the advice.

I don't have enough room for yoke/throttle and honestly I like HOTAS better. 😉 It's not so much a question of budget, but of a real absence of mid-range proposals. It goes from around €250 for an X56 to more than double for products that seem to be made mainly for military flight simulators. Is it really worth it, given that an X52 has satisfied me for almost 15 years?

My trusty X52, after almost 15 years of honorable service, is starting to show the first symptoms of failure. I don't want to suddenly find myself without HOTAS but I have a thousand doubts about replacing it. I was pretty sure about buying the X56 but I read too many negative reviews that filled me with doubts and I can't find a valid alternative that doesn't cost a fortune. I only use MSFS, no DCS or space simulators. No GA, no VFR but I change planes often, ATR, Boeing, Airbus, BAe, CRJ and hopefully Dash8 in the future. Any advice, opinion and criticism is welcome.

I fly IFR 99% of the time but I gave up on using ATC. It has certainly improved in some things, but it has some absurd flaws for the level it should aspire to. The last bug is the one I understand the least. As usual I choose real callsigns based on the flight I do and it has always worked. Last 2 flights: SHAMROCK 669 - ATC says just OCK EASY 5466 - ATC says 5466 1123

It happened to me just once on the first flight after the SU14 update. Since then I haven't had the issue anymore, but honestly I didn't change any setting before or after the update.

There's NO game in Game Pass that can't be bought out of it. Zero. Why some people want at all costs Flight simulator to be the first one I really can't understand.

It runs on a Playstation 5, so I assume that size and price are in an acceptable range. When? I think near the end of 2020.

Sad reality is that nowadays we're all paying beta testers. But honestly I'm not going to pay 200€ to beta-test a product that should've been a (very good) update and not a full new version. What grinds my gears (cit.) 😄 is that LM has released v5 now because they perfectly know that we're all locked out and many of us were ready to buy. 😞

I never had this issue since I installed last nVidia drivers yesterday after a full clean reinstall of P3D 4.5. GPU is not OC. I'll try to revert to previous drivers and see what happens.

It's a possibility of course, but at the moment there's exactly ZERO games on the Microsoft store that you can play only by subscription. And I don't think that MSFS will be the first one. I hope.

Could be that the demo is only v3 compatible and you're trying it on the v4.5?

Hi Nico, tried to solve on my own this issue but I can't understand how. Everything was fine with 15.4 then I updated in the usual way to 15.8 and all moving aircrafts aren't injected in the sim anymore. There are plenty of them on Real Traffic radar, both leds in PSX are green, all parked aircraft are there but I can't see more than one or two live aircrafts even in very busy airports. In this very moment I'm at LIRN and I can see just one departing aircraft and nothing more while in the lateral range (40nm) there are at least 10 of them flying over the airport or landing. And even the one taking off has suddenly disappeared... now 0 live aircraft.

Live aircrafts. Today at LIML every E170 or E190 AZA had another livery, even if they're correctly set in the xml file. Anyway I deleted all the UTLive liveries and used other models for Alitalia Embraer.

That's another thing that worked since last updates. Now I have many aircrafts that could not be created, but they always worked. Like E190 AZA, never had a problem with that but now I see Azul or JetBlue liveries instead of AZA. I ran AIL Generator and I have so many errors that weren't there before. Need to investigate further on that.

I read the log.txt and it seems that all the airports in the parked_updates folder miss the latitude and longitude parameters. They worked fine since the last updates of PSXSeecon. I think I'll have to rebuild them all. Hi Nico, with the latest versions something weird is happening. PSXSeecon can't read the airport files in the parked_updates folder. I tried with several airports and I've always got the [airport] no airport file? error that prevents the program to work correctly, so that no aircraft's shown. If I move the xml file (or simply rename it) it works correctly but I obviously lose all my parked aircraft and I've to begin all from scratch at that airport. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi Nico, this morning I've updated all the programs to the latest versions. When I run PSXSeecon I've error 93 for many airports. I regenerated with PPG but it seems that it randomly misses some of them. Looking at the xml files in the parked folder of PPG I noticed that they're not updated. This is ENFY, but I had same problem with EGHQ and some others. <info name="author" value="ParkPosGenerator" /> <info name="version" value="8.3" /> <info name="date" value="Thu Jan 10" /> What can I do? Thank you 😉 [EDIT] I managed to change the last two lines copying from other airports that were correctly updated and now it works. Still I don't know why some airports weren't updated.

Hello Nico, just added in my airlines.xml : FOO - Level Fleet consists of 4 A321s for short hauls from Wien and 3 A330s.
