  1. This option is also nice if you want to have some fun with friends. Not everyone will want to go and buy DCS plus any of the additional modules if they really don't want to do the whole combat simulation. But flying fast in the world of MSFS and also low level flying through the valleys of Wales/Scotland and other parts of the world is going to be fun to do.
  2. The official twitter account replied to someone about FPS and they stated the following: "Base framerate will be 30 FPS. On TVs that support VRR, the framerate can go above 30 FPS" It would be interesting to see how well it performs on the Xbox Platform:
  3. The same reason why any game developer would look at getting new staff X amount of months after the original release. It's called expanding the team.
  4. Ok but as others have said, a freeware category is coming.
  5. It's not that weird. It's either had changes in the build they are using or it's just for marketing video. It's always possible for Microsoft to open up a freeware option within the current marketplace and allow liveries to be uploaded to cater for the Xbox players.
  6. The cart that you can get at your local supermarket. Although I don't know what you call them in the USA. But in the UK and probably Europe, they are known as a shopping trolley.
  7. I would suggest getting the WorkingTitle improvement mods for the G1000 and others at: https://www.workingtitle.aero/packages/ if you haven't already. They are also working on the G1000 NXi as mentioned here:
  8. Update seems to have gone ok on this side! Will give it a test later on.
  9. Honestly wasn't expecting them to do a u-turn on the situation but maybe they finally realised how much backlash this was giving them. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.
  10. Did they move that thread out of view already where they asked for feedback about the matter? The one that they titled "Lets be constructive".
  11. Of all of the examples they could have gone with. They went with that?!
  12. A downside of getting airlines involved with this mess, they could turn around on the whole FS community and say you can't make repaints of their liveries for FS addons. I'm not saying they would but there could be pros and cons to this. As I'm pretty sure BA stopped a VA from having to use its logos in the end.
  13. This is what they had to say on their forum so far about the matter:
  14. Never - Hence why software get updates to fix bugs and add features regardless of the type of software it is. I'm surprised some people can't actually remember the launch of FSX.
  15. I never said that. You were the one who told someone first they didn't have to buy it again. You are getting hard up over the word "AGAIN". You are still going to add the 737 to your basket, pay some money (with a discount). People can argue that is still buying a 737 AGAIN. After they have done that I don't know, 2 or 3 times already for different platforms. ******* christ. Who the hell cares. If you are happy that it's not going to be "again" fine. Some people will think its buying it "again" and are happy to do so. It's not bloody hard.
  16. Like I said, call it what you want if thats what makes you happy.
  17. Some people will have to buy it again at full price if they want it and did not get the NGXU during the promotion period or at all. You can call it what you want, you're still going through the process of purchasing a product on their website but with a discount applied. I don't care about the process or what they are doing, that doesn't bother me. I was just saying you are technically buying it "again" as it is still a PMDG 737 but just for a different platform.
  18. People who bought the NGXU before the promotion period ended were going to get a discount from the MSFS version. So you are technically buying something again just with a discounted price. Unless that has changed.
  19. I was never going to buy it anyway. As you can easily save the money and add it to other money to buy a better addon when the time comes for MSFS or on another platform altogether.
  20. But will they? They would need to make a statement to actually say that. At the moment I haven't see any indication that would be the case. Plus they actually just said this on facebook rather than waiting for SDK updates: "Advanced systems programing takes years and that 777 could cost $100+"
  21. I'm pretty sure CaptainSim did a "Back to P3D" sale sometime last year 😆
  22. At least they haven't gone ahead and gave it a $99 price tag. But yeah, releasing it with 747 systems/gauges. Ouch.
  23. It's really down to a user preference. For example I have all 3 major sims installed (P3D, MSFS, X-Plane) and use them for different needs at the moment.
