Malaysian 777 down in Ukraine
I'm in a deep shock since I've heard of it. It's coming so unreal to my ears that 295 families are scattered right now.

Beta Testers do you have the RTM build yet?
There is no one around to make this happen. But today I've learned that I might take some cash to fill my wallet and then drain it to zero again.

Beta Testers do you have the RTM build yet?
I wonder I won't keep up with you on Friday, as my connection (still hoping the very opposite) may not be available. :( Moreover, I had to spend a lot during the first weeks; -300ER will be decorating my dreams for some time. I'm sure that it will be very painful.

Disabling Fly By Wire?
As far as I understood from this message that the flight model implemented in 777-200LR and F versions is not as realistic as we have been thinking or expriencing. Do you intend to say this? I know that in flight simulators flight model can be developed by service packs or updates but could you please give a percentage of the flight model that we use now? Thank you.

SP1 Beta Preview - Weather Radar into ATL
Ryan's explanations are really appreciated as nearly all of us have been waiting for this major update for a long time. At least we understood well the complexity of the update along with FSX's old fashion aviation coding...

Longest 777 flight...
Nowadays, I've been planning to do it from LTBA-KSFO. After getting a nice airport scenery of KSFO, all I need is a full weekend. ^_^

30SEP11: More SP1 & 600/700 Schedule Changes...
Yeah, all of us will. I see that everyone here and waiting for the packs are fully confident and no one really is in a rush as waiting for tomorrows.

New Texture PMDG 737-800WL - Turkish Airlines (Manchester) - by fs-studio.fr
Hi Jean, I found some screenshots of TK's Barcelona plane. Have you been working on it nowadays? If so, I'm really looking forward it.

New Texture PMDG 737-800WL - Turkish Airlines (Manchester) - by fs-studio.fr
Amazing job, we want to see TC-JGY (Barcelona Livery) as well. Really appreciated! But I found some little glitches. There aren't written last two letters of the plane's registration on bay doors of the front landing gear and the plane's name is 'Tunceli' which wasn't placed on both sides of the nose. In addition to those, a white line rounded rear side of the plane is disturbing, it must be a graphical conflict between livery graphics. Last thing, 'Turkish' logo is stretched upwards than its normal size. But, all of those abuses are very simple to be solved. When I look at the plane, it makes me smile. By the way, here comes the first touch. :)

How serious do you take the NGX?
Sorry, it's a way of lifestyle and NGX ought to be considered as serious as it's possible.

"My First Repaint" or "When Good Planes Go Bad"
Let's put a smile on that nose :)

Menu bar in FSX
In fact, when you hit the ALT button you should see the bar or hide the bar. It's not related to NGX add-on. It didn't happen to me at least or never heard of it. Did you install the last fix? If this issue still occurs, please uninstall the FSX, clear the AppData folder inside which is related to FSX and then re-install it.

Engine Start Up Duration
That's what I meant before so thank you for your reply Frank! The spool-up isn't fluent enough, yes that's correct. As you point out, there must be an animation absence and because of that it must have misled me during the procedure.
-
Engine Start Up Duration
I've already watched some of those videos and the procedure is unique one thus that doesn't change so much thing. I don't actually point this. Thanks anyway.

Engine Start Up Duration
Yes, right. Seeing this stuff working from different perspectives can be misleading for some maybe but while watching engine start up from ground or outside of cockpit it doesn't seem so accurate. I don't want to imply that timing must be so accurate comparing to real world circumstances. But this engine start up and their stabilization duration are much more far away being accurate comparing to real stuff and appliances.

Engine Start Up Duration
First of all, I'm doing everything correctly while in engine start up procedure. I'm so sure about that. Secondly, when operating a real world 738, engine's turning ratio is faster and ignition happens very quickly. There's not an exact time for engine start up and its stabilization but I think that can give you an idea: While pushback is started, captain asks that if Engine 2 is ok to run, if you say that's ok Engine 2 is started up and while approaching onto centerline Engine 2 stalizes. It takes about 10 seconds. I mean engine's running happens very quickly. Not a speculation nameless. It can be a legimate fault though. Because, I have been operating A Boeing 737-800/900 everyday on the ground in real world. That's what I see.

Engine Start Up Duration
Any idea why does an engine start up progress take so long? In real world, engine start up and its stabilization doesn't take so much.

Anyone got any tips for single engine taxi?
Weird... I've never seen an A/C taxiing with a single engine running, including A330, A310, A300 and 747... I tried to simulate the single engine taxiing with NGX and nose steering was OK if GS was about 20-25.

Anyone got any tips for single engine taxi?
I've never seen a 738 or 739 type of Boeing taxiing with a single engine running in real world. If you fly with an ATR, it's different. By the way, airlines have some written TAXI Fuel amounts for different Aerodromes. But in fact, the A/C doesn't spend that amount of planned Taxi Fuel or spend a bit more depending which taxiway and runway will be used for to be lined up. And, it's important that taxi time (planned also) and its pace make difference seriously for the A/C's takeoff fuel and as you know takeoff fuel can change the A/C's calculated MACTOW.

Start-up from cold and dark
There's a missing line just before spooling up an engine. First and for always Engine 2 is started up unless being told by the captain. While using ASU (Air Starter Unit) some of the captains want you to check engine 1 and then engine 1 is started up but it's a very rare procedure.

Warning sound?
Probably when you hear of that warning sound, switch your cam to FO side and you must be seeing caution light on writing next to it 'OVERHEAD'. I think after takeoff or just before the takeoff you didn't turn on the packs.
