Ah...Forgot about those... I'm using FlightBeam KDEN. I haven't even gotten the chance to install rex textures yet. So, thats almost a totally vanilla P3D shot. It's amazing to think about how far the flight simulation platform has come over the years. From flight simulator 1 for the Apple II to P3D. Here's Flight Simulator 1. How do we fly with the keyboard, again?

The -200LR with code-share routes is as close as I'm gonna get. Just took off with RVR 300M. That was interesting. I watched your J41 video, looks like a fun aircraft to fly.

Now, I just gotta find a way to get up there from Rio. If United doesn't fly it, my VA doesn't.

  9. What is the 0547z marker? I've never seen that before.
  10. In my opinion, yes. I would recommend upgrading your ram.8GB would be a solid improvement.

I thought I read something in the FCTM that said AUTO 3 is best for brake wear. Because, It makes sure there is one single application of the brakes. Instead of a fluctuation when you use AUTO 1 or AUTO 2. Makes sense, but maybe its just my imagination. Anybody care to chime in?
  14. I believe that brake reading 5 is approximately 538 degrees celsius. Ill do some more research on the topic. Very intresting!

Okay, So I did a few CAT III ILS approaches. Then a several CAT II ILS approaches with A/T on all the way down. The throttles did idle out at the correct time. But, as martin-w said, the throttles do take several seconds to close up. After some practice, I can already tell my landings are getting much better. Right on the piano keys B). Thanks for all the help gentlemen!

I've been flying VREF + 5. Generally around 140 ish knots.

Question, It seems like if I leave the A/T on for landing, The throttles retard at around 15 feet. Causing a floating effect. I thought the real aircraft brings the throttles to idle at 25-ish feet. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
