  1. Man... I was hoping for a dc3.....I guess I'll just have to live with it ;D
  2. I think a DC3 would be just brilliant. Although very unlikely.... :,(
  3. I wouldn't be so sure you can't run the ngx decently. I'm running it on a Pentium 4, albeit with low fps (Around 8-15) but it still feels pretty smooth. Aslong as you don't go haywire with the scenery settings, it could just run...Specs:Pentium 4 @ 3.6 Ghz (1 core)4 Gb ram @ 667 Mhz8600GT
  4. Hello,I've been trying to get both ASE and SB to work together on the same networked PC using simconnect.A couple months ago I installed ASE and got it up and working with simconnect and everything was working perfectly, until I tried to install SB.The SB installer installs Simconnect 10.0.60905.0, while I already installed 10.0.61259.0 for ASE.With both installed ASE works fine but SB won't connect to FSX.With 10.0.60905.0 only SB will run but ASE gives me an error message stating that I need SimConnect SP2 installed, and while it runs it doesn't seem to connect to FSX.With 10.0.61259.0 only SB won't connect to FSX but ASE works fine.Does anyone think it could be a config problem or know a way to run SB with the latest SImconnect? Thanks a lot!Arthur
  5. The scenery does seem greatly improved, the road in screens 9 & 10 looks quite good.
  6. Thanks for all the answers!I've tried looking this up in the FCOM but still don't get it. So if I dial in a new altitude, and then switch to VS mode will the plane level off at the altitude assuming VS is set in the right direction? The section on ALT HOLD wasn't of much help either...Thanks!
  7. Hi!I'm having some problems using the Alt Hold function. Say I'm preforming a vfr flight and I'm using Alt Hold to maintain FL140. Then I want to descend to 6000 feet. If I just dial in the altitude nothing happens, and Alt Intv doesn't do anything either. On the other hand, if I'm in speed mode, the plane tries to maintain every value I dial in, which seems normal. Shouldn't it be doing this with Alt Hold too? Thanks a lot!Arthur
  8. I had a related problem where parts of the panel were missing and bits were scattered all over the place, turns out it was because I didn't delete the NGX folder after uninstalling it.. But if you followed the sticky you did do that.Good Luck!
  9. Same here, though it only seems to happen with low res textures on the 900. The 800 is working fine...
  10. That functionality did become available with SP1, they just didn't integrate it with the livery manager. It's a separate program named "Preformance Manager" , its listed in the PMDG programs folder along with the manuals and the livery manager.Arthur Fabre
  11. I've recently started to look into building a pit, and while project magenta and others do seem nice (although expensive) they don't come with a flight model. For the moment I'm just interested in being able to display pmdg gauges on a different screen. I can do it If I click on them but, they then dissapear from the virtual cockpit. (I already posted about this in the general forum) Does anyone know if the pmdg gauges could be shown on another screen (MCP, EICAS and nav displays) without them dissapearing from the vc? Thanks a lot!
  12. Hello, I'm looking for software that would allow me to view gauges (be it fsx ones or pmdg ones) on a networked pc. It would aslo be nice if one could crearte templates for different aircraft with different gauges and move them around. I guees I'm looking for something like fsXpand that doesn'y display custom gauges but already existant ones. Thanks a lot! Arthur Fabre
  13. Just wanted to let everybody know (if anybody still owns a similar cpu) that the ngx works flawlessly on a Pentium IV (OCed to 3.6 Ghz) with more than decent visual settings and REX but no traffic. I average about 25 in flight and it goes down to 18-20 on the ground with 4 gb ram (667 Mhz) and an old 8600GT. Arthur Fabre
