Hi Don't know if this is the right forum so apologies it if is not. I am trying to get an ACARS device to connect, I am only getting a message "waiting for ACARS connection ". It says connection is via a TCP/IP port. Can anyone please advise ? Don't know it I am allowed to mention the programme here. Thanks Paul

Hi Just updated to the latest version but keep getting a config. error message " The installation folder is undefined ". Tried a reinstall again but get the same message. Help please ?? Think I have sorted it, for some reason the installation folder location had changed itself.

Hi My OCZ SSD recently failed and I now have a replacement under warranty. In the mean time I installed a larger internal intel SSD as a replacement. I now have an enclosure for the OCZ and am hoping to use it as an external storage device. Now not trying to sound too stupid I have connected it up to a USB and I cannot see the drive under My Computer, only under Devices. How do I use the damn thing ??? Thanks Paul

Hi I programmed a flight from Charles De Gaulle to Birmingham in the PMDG with ORBX EU and Opus last night as I wanted to see how realistic it looked at EGBB as it was really foggy. I have to say it looked sensational ....... Thanks Steve and Cheryl for this fantastic add on. I have been looking through your files in the live weather pdf about creating your own imported file. As this flight was so realistic I want to fly it again and again. Is it possible to create a metar with fog with low visiblity and if so could you show me an example of a metar ? Thanks Paul

hi I have just upgraded to the latest version , 2.50.6 and followed the upgrade instuctions to delete the old installation in add/remove programmes only. I now cannot see the fsx.server.exe in my original installation folder so cannot get it to work ? Help please. Thanks Paul Sorted, re-installed again and now it has appeared.

No difference mate PMDG 737 at EGBB active runway, all sliders maxed apart from water, traffic at 30% 2560 x 1440 26 FPS with FRAPS 1920 x 1080 26 FPS No difference, tried it at different airports for you. Paul I sit around the same distance as well.

I went from the Dell 23 inch to the Dell 27 inch 2560 and it was worth every penny. I was a bit concerned about FPS drop with my 560ti but there wasn't any !! . Run it at 2560 resolution, it transforms FSX. I was looking at the Dell 30 inch but at close to £1000 I could not afford it. The 27" is great compromise . Paul

This looks good for me on windowed mode, as soon as I go to full screen it turns itself off. Is there a setting I can change ? Thanks

Hi Bob Did you uninstall the old driver first ? I think Ben Cap did a guide somewhere on this forum specifying of the need to uninstall the old driver first if you upgrade your graphics card. Regards Paul

Yes Richard, all Kostas tweaks, I found out its to do with running 2 monitors, obviously sweetfx doesn't like it !!
