  1. basically a 3D printer, and just a bit of craftsmanship...
  2. Hi there, First of all Happy New Year! I would like to share my new Throttle levers to use on the Saitek Quadrant, flying the PMDG T7. I'm still working on the speedbrake lever and also on an adapter to mount the Saitek Quadrant in an angle of about 45 degrees to the desk.. More pics will follow.
  3. Hi Patric, I just got Pro ATC myself, and enjoying it a lot better than Radar Contact with my T7. It's worth to check it out.
  4. FSI Panel and FS2Crew are working fine together for me though! Just start FSX with the trike on the field you are going to land on, then start FSI Panel with the T7. As soon as FSI Panel is ready with trimming out your plane, start FS2Crew by hitting the N key
  5. Same here, tried UT2 with UT2 bridge, MyTraffic X, and WOAI, gates filled, no movement at all. Any word from Tegwyn?
  6. I just had the same issues as Nick. I found out that the trigger V2 XXX in the take of speeds challenge often shows 'three two x x x' in stead of 'v two x x x' in the green bar, in which case the next sentence is not triggered. Try calling 'V' and see what happens in the green bar. The system seems to have trouble recognizing the difference between 'Vee' and 'Three'. I am also curious about the number of decimals allowed in the trim response.
  7. The rest of my planes?? Which planes???
  8. Nobody seems to have read this line I posted in upper mentioned post: Then I remembered the tutorial where it says to 'push your throttles fully forward' after THR REF annunciation. (page 0.00.63, second bullit). That is simply not correct. I think some people will have their overspeed issues on take off because of that error in the tutorial.
  9. There was an other thread about this topic, I reacted on (http://forum.avsim.net/topic/419922-over-speed-after-take-off/?p=2786528) Strange enough nobody seems to have noticed my arguments. Maybe here are some sane thinking people? (or am I totally lost here?)
  10. I don't think it's a bug or something. I noticed it to. Then I remembered the tutorial where it says to 'push your throttles fully forward' after THR REF annunciation. (page 0.00.63, second bullit). I noticed the next flight that the A/T is on HOLD on that instant, and I have A/T override set to 'only on Hold'. That means that, when a thrust setting of for example 92% (A/T from the FMC), full throttle overrides that setting, resulting in to much thrust and therefore overspeed. In stead of full trottle your throttle setting after TO GA and THR REF is supposed to be matched with the programmed thrust. The small arrows on the N1 indicators have to align with the blue line of your physical trottles position.
  11. where's your throttle after to-ga switch pressed?
  12. Is there anyone you succesfully upgraded W7/64 to W8/64 with FSX allready installed?? So a good working FSX install with addons on W7/64 upgraded to W8/64.
  13. according to the site (http://www.pilotedge.net/pages/operating-hours-and-service-area) of PilotEdge: PilotEdge provides ATC service in a limited geographic area. This is by design.
  14. Hi Stephen, the last Beta 2.28.5 is right on the nail! It works fine now! This way I don't need EZCA anymore. Thanks very much! :good: :Applause:
  15. Thanks Stephen, I Will give it a try tonight and get back to you. Verstuurd van mijn GT-I9300 met Tapatalk
  16. Thanks Stephen! I just tried Beta 2.28.4, but it doens't change or solve my problem. I am not sure if I explained it right. I think the meaning is that there should be a straight or slightly curved line between te two POV's in the transition between them. It has nothing to do with the transition speed, more with the direction. As said, with TrackIR disabled, it works fine, but with TIR enabled the line between the two POV's in the transition is not straight or curved, but angled and broken. For example with a starting POV of the overhead panel towards the captains POV, it starts moving down to the throttle quadrant (so in the wrong direction), and about 3/4 of this travel it suddenly 'jumps' to the targeted captains POV. This kind of behaviour I see in every POV combination, with TIR enabled. I would be very glad if you can help me out here, because I would like to use the camera options of Opus rather than EZCA. But as things are now I just have to stick to EZCA. Nevertheless, the weather of Opus is the best I've ever seen. Maybe it's am idea (I have no clue if it's possible) to let the program disable TIR during transitions?
  17. I got my zoom levels all equal, it's not that. With some transitions it seems as if the view starts moving the wrong way, e.g. from the overhead panel to the captains seat it starts to move right (!!!) and then suddenly jumps to the captains seat view. Again: transitions are smooth from any camera position to a camera postion of wich the TrackIR is disabled. With overall disabled TrackIR all transitions are smooth and ok. I agree the weather part of Opus is the best, but for the views/cams I stick to EZCA, untill there's a solution here. BTW I think it's odd there no reaction from the Opus guy here.... He seems so helpfull in other posts!
  18. Every Beta update I hope to see this problem solved, but nothing worked so far. Meanwhile I figured out that de transitions work fine, when switching to a cam of wich TrackIR is disabled. The problem I described only occurs switching to a cam with Track IR enabled. Can any one help me out here? I use TrackIR5 software
  19. I did take the time to try to get things working, but the camara transitions in OPUS using TrackIR don't work right. As I stated in an other post it kind of jumps form one positon to another when I have TrackIR enabled. Only when I disable TrackIR on a cam, the transition TO it works like it should (and like EZCA does flawless WITH TrackIR). But wit TRackIR enabled, it starts the transition fluidly, but about half ways, it 'jumps' to the chosen cam view. I tried everything, nothing worked. With EZCA it works fine, so the choise is easy. I rather loose 3-6 fps (then i'm still over 25 fps), than cope with the unrealistic and annoying camera transitions.
  20. I don't seem to get the camera transitions in VC (PMDG 737NGX) right. They don't move smoothly from one position to another, just like EZCA does. It starts moving nice for a small distance, then kind of jumps to the choosen new cam. I cannot figure this one out. If I can't get it right I rather stay with EZCA Ed van de Vijver
