[16JAN16] The Things They Carry... 747-400 Info
What an awesome feature! It's always a weird and rare sight to see the queen with the 5th pod attached and even so in flight sim. Can't wait to go haul som engines around when it's released! Maybe he's thinking about the cover they put over the nacelle, as can be seen in these pictures: Disregard if you've already got this covered (bad pun intended)

Beta team request
There's an even easier way to do this. The SDK kit has a tool called Traffic Explorer, or something like that. It can be opened from the sim, and from there every object in the SimObjects-folder can be placed out as AI or static objects. You can also assign a speed, heading etc. or a flight plan from the tool. I've used it to place aircraft carriers when practicing carrier landings (not with the 777 though). It's pretty neat! I put out an entire moving convoy with destroyers, support vessels etc., all in less than 5 minutes. Here's the manual: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526965.aspx#TrafficExplorer

Can't shutdown the engines on the -900WL
What about ctrl+shift+F1? Try that after you've set the start levers to cutoff.

"Are you fascinated by planes? Do you spend a lot of time(/money) on FSX/X-plane? Then this is your dream job!"
Actually in Norway it's not usual for job adverts to mention the exact salary, and it's not usual to ask about it at a job interview either unless you're told it. I guess it's mostly because they'd rather hire people interested in the job itself and not the salary..? At least I wouldn't care so much about how good the salary was if I could get paid to fly a flight simulator as a full time job B) Seriously? Wanna swap places?

"Are you fascinated by planes? Do you spend a lot of time(/money) on FSX/X-plane? Then this is your dream job!"
Apparently the Norwegian CAA (Avinor) is looking for people with hours on FSX or X-plane and a fascination for aviation. According to the job advert, participation in VATSIM is also a big bonus. The job is full time, paid accordingly, and candidates are given a 3 week training course. Translated job advert: http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=no&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=no&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Frecruit.manpower.no%2Fno%2Fstilling%3Fjob%3D1009681&act=url Who of you wouldn't apply for this job..? At least I had a good laugh when I saw it!

I headed straight over here when I saw this!
Watch and enjoy!

Did BA get 777-200LR's?

Did BA get 777-200LR's?
The /L means it's GNSS, GPS and WAAS equipped and certified to fly in RVSM airspace. /Q would indicate it has adequate RNP capabilities for the route segment it's flying.

Getting frustrated with this bird
You should go into the OPUS options and check out "Sim friendly options". Theres also some other options for wind and temp smoothing if you take a look around. Maybe a fresh reinstall of OPUS is also worth a try. Go uninstall it from the Windows control panel, and reinstall the latest beta from their website! Troubleshooting like this sure takes some time, but it's worth it and it will make your FS experience a better one!

777 Making Flatulent Noises
It's obvious you have some Out of Memory issues. Go read page 21-25 of the introduction manual!
