Hi Bouwe, Not a bother , that's good to know that you've got it downloaded. One little tip that took me ages to realize, if you go into the settings menu and are confused as to what all the options mean, click on the grey title boxes and a brief description of the item appears. Best Phil

I decided to splurge after a buddy picked up the samsung 49in ultra wide. I had him fire up XP11 demo just to get an idea andc wow - I have to say - this is a close 2nd to VR for me for immersion. The only drawback for me is the lack of head tracking vs VR - although I could always get track IR I suppose. It also doubles as work monitor which is killer not having borders now and pretty much the same real estate. If you are only using X-Plane, may I recommend Tracker XP, I feel it does an excellent job and is a lot cheaper and is less temperamental than Track IR, Phil

I took up on this idea of extenders and it's completely transformed things, thank so much. I bought a set of 3 extenders for £89 and kept the original spring in place, these allow me to stand the stick on the floor. Now there is still a resistance but far less than before and although the stick still self centers there is no feeling of clicking to the middle. Thanks again for your help. Phil

What size are you thinking of and does it have to be a monitor or something like a Sony 4k tv?

Hello, I'm happy with v 1.20b however I've been having a nosy at v 1.30. I don't see an option to download the whole complete tile at ZL 19, the max seems to be ZL 18, in v 1.20b this option is easily available to click on, am I missing something please? Thanks for any and all your advice. Phil

Thanks everyone for your educated and insightful replies, it seems to be the consensus to leave the spring in place and I'll therefore take your advice. I'll look into the stick extender idea and also the null zone options from within X-Plane. And I'll try , really try to get over that central detente issue that bugs me. Thanks again Phil

How realistic is a flight sim joystick, do real aircraft self center? I have the Hotas Wartog, a quality piece of kit for sure however, it is sprung and always brings itself back to the central centered position, there's even a little pause if it pushed over that position, do real aircraft do this? I have thought about removing the spring altogether as per several videos on YouTube, any comments for and against this approach please? Thanks Phil

Hello, Is it possible to edit the overlay used in Orbx True Earth, I only want some of the things offered , for instance, I would prefer not to use their houses but I do want to keep trees, wind farms and other bits. Any ideas please? Phil
