Hello, I read on the AMD drivers software that Anisotropic filtering, together with several other items only affect DirectX 9 applications. Therefore, should these settings not be used with P3d 5-1 or XP11-5 please? Best.... Phil

Try going to weather in the main menu, customise, and set visibility to a more distant setting, say 40/50 miles. Best.... Phil

For the UK i have purchased both Orbx True Earth and JustFlight NextGen 3d. Personally, for me the JustFlight scenery wins hands down with colouring, detail and autogen, so much so that I have removed Orbx altogether. Best to all for the year ahead. Phil

It's OK but my own ortho is far, far better. If you do decide to go the TE route, I'd suggest that you hang fire until they have the next of their regular sales 40 / 50% off, Black Friday maybe? Best.... Phil

i don't think it works with standard P3d autogen. However, if you have either JustFlight NGX or Orbx TE scenery installed, simply put your ortho layre below their other layers and above their scenerey layer.

They don't get used with TrueEarh products, see the Global Trees HD manual, it states clearly that they are not used with TE. Best.... Phil

Firstly, thanks for your advice and your offer of help if required, I'll try github for the P3d version, I can't seem to find a lot about it on the tinternet. I saw something called FSEarthTiles, have you tried that at all? If the P3d version is similar to the XP version, the ZL can be altered up to 19 in the main config file. For providers, I used mainly Google, a few Bing and a few Arc,I struggled a bit with Shetland and Orkney! If you are using ZL18 and no higher, a good provider is Ordinance Survey UK18.
