    Ah thanks for the link. I will have to try the beta drivers then. Anyone know if FS2Crew 747 works? i know that FS2Crew 737 does.

    Unfortunately I dont think I'll be able to jump to P3D yet as TrackIR and FS2Crew 747 do not work :(

    I'm thinking of moving over to Prepare3D. I know that the PMDG 737 is supported but how about the 747? There were some posts last year about it making Prepare3D crash but haven't heard any updates yet. Many thanks

    Not as bad as what happened to me! i was flying for real onboard a 747 along with doing the same flight on my laptop. When i started talking to FS2crew my fellow passengers gave me weird looks!

    I want to install it on a hdd separate from FSX. Will on connected by esata be fast enough? or will that still conflict with my FSX install on my C drive?

    yes I have Microsoft Flight Simulator Simconnect Client v10.0.60905.0 installed on the client PC. however AS2012 is still giving the same error as the OP.

    Hi i'm having the same issue. i have one simconnect.msi which I used but AS2012 is still giving the same error. i have 3 versions of simconnect.dll, the latest being in C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft.flightsimulator.simconnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.61259.0_none_55f5ecdc14f60568. Do i copy that over to the client? i have been advised to install SP1 and SP2 from http://www.fsdeveloper.com/wiki/index.php?title=SDK_Installation_%28FSX%29. But as i already have FSX Gold yjay will ruin my Acceleration install.

    Anyone here successfully use FS2crew 747 and 737? How about hardware such as Goflight, Saitek, CP MCP and TabletFMC?

    ATM I have 1 ATI 7950 GPU and 3 Dell 24" HD screens in Eyeinfinity. Would getting another 2 GPUs (1 for each screen) improve performance?

    Unfortunately I'm not a student so i will ahve to pay the full whack :( @@jcomm many thanks for your detailed explanation, that really helps be get a better understanding of prepare3D. i only fly heavies, atm the PMDG 747 which i am a bit worried about porting over. A few more addons I will need to port over, are they compatible? Ezdoc TrackIR FS2crew 747 Also hardware that I need to work; Goflight throttle, radio and switch CP 747 MCP TabletFMC Saitek yoke and rudder pedals

    if the airport has ILS will it always have a marker? My last flight was into EGLL and there was no beeping.

    Hi all, when landing using ILS I set and arm the marker beacon but I hear no beeping sound on approach to the runway. I'm not sure if I am doing it correctly, could someone please explain how to set it up? This is what I do: In the audio panel push the APP button and a yellow light pops up. At the right hand side of that button there is a small rotating knob, turn it full right to the MKR position.

    Shame there isnt a trial version of Prepare3D, it would be nice to est my add-ons before purchase! Another question, does prepare3D actually have better graphics and environment? On a technical note, how have Lockheed made it more stable then FSX?

    Hi I have FSX Gold downloaded from the Microsoft store. I have installed the Simconnect Client v10.0.60905.0 on my client PC using simconnect.msi that i copied across. However AS2012 says I need a valid FSX SP1 or SP2 Simconnect client.

    tabletFMC does have more supported planes though, maybe a good excuse to buy an iPad! Just read you have to have the FMC undocked :( that always crashes my PC so no use for me. Also an intereting review: http://www.simflight.com/2013/02/17/review-tabletfmc-for-idevices/ So you cant even move the undocked FMC out of the FSX window, thats useless!

    the Med is probably a better example. It isnt particularly wide at some points but traffic still disappears. Actually what i really dislike about UT2 is a traffic refreshed every time I go into the FSX menu.

    I was just looking for ideas for the flight. For example what is an easy failure? i guess a cargo fire is easier to deal with then a engine out. Also some ideas for routes.
