Thanks. What software does the throttle use to connect to the PMDG 737? It is jetmax's own? Just thinking how compatible it is with the PMDG 747.

i fly with a VA which gives great purpose and they also do tours as well. I also fly just to see airports I like or have been to!

The Jetmax kit states on their website it is compatible with the PMDG 737NGX. I already have 3 24" screens which will suffice.

Is it worth the effort to try and increase FSX performance and run some add-ons on a networked PC. For example, how much FPS could I increase by running AS2012 on a networked PC? Also I have Aerosofts Navdatapro on my FSX PC> I can i transfer the licenses to the networked PC?

Navigraph have stopped their credit system so one has to pay directly via card or paypal. However the min payment is 3 EUR. To get around this you can buy a 25 Eur coupon from Simmarket for 29.75 Eur. So effectively you are paying tax twice, one for Simmarket and one for Navigraph?

Can you use a 737 yoke for a 747. Like assign each throttle to 2 throttles?

Thinking of getting the Microsoft Surface Pro to run as a 2nd FSX PC. It will run networked AS2012, UT2, EFB, ProATCX and Wideview FMC. Do you think its powerful enough?

I really like the look of FDS Jetmax, it looks amazing! I'd love to build my own home cockpit but dont really fly one aircraft. I fly a mixture of the PMDG 737 and 747, and soon to be 777. Maybe i shouldn't get a home cockpit and try to build something generic? I'm really looking for the MCP; PFD, ND and UE, LE displays; throttle; CDU; yoke; pedals. the rest of the cockpit can wait for the moment. And no i dont have the space nor money for a cockpit for each aircraft

Thanks for the explanation. i just noticed the 737 MCP does not have the right engine display buttons (EICAS) like on the 747 MCP.

I was thinking more about the buttons and functions. For example, i would not be able to use the 737 MCP on the 747 as it does not have 3 CMD buttons.
