Prepar3d v3.x - GTX760 or GTX970?
I don't know what I'm doing wrong then, b/c I basically have the same setup. I have the i5 4670K OC to 4.5ghz, Gigabyte G1 GTX 970, 16gb ram and am at 1080p. I was using REX and maybe that has something to do with the FPS crippling with the 4x SGSSAA?

Prepar3d v3.x - GTX760 or GTX970?
Not to hijack the thread, but would a dual GTX 970 be able to handle 4x SGSSAA in dense clouds? Thanks

P3D v3.2 Settings
Thanks for your input. Pretty crazy that it caused a hit in the past with that beast of a card!

P3D v3.2 Settings
I've seen a couple different reports regarding the need of SGSS 4x to reduce shimmering. Is this still needed in 3.2? And if so, do the FPS still come down to a crawl when heavy clouds are present? I have i5 4670k oc to 4.4ghz and gtx 970. Thanks!

Taking the P3D Plunge Today
I'm considering taking the plunge and getting p3d v3 as well. My only concern are the reports of poor AA and shimmering, and having to offset this issue with 4x SGSSA causing a hit on fps with dense clouds. Is this still the case?

I'm a P3Dv3 Believer!
I'm an Nvidia user and have read of many reports that the AA is not so good in P3D. Is this fixed in V3? It seems that SGSSAA 4x is needed to fix this issue, but kills performance when there are a lot of clouds. Is it realistic to think this will get fixed eventually?

AA AMD vs Nvidia
I've read some threads stating the AA with the nvidia drivers isn't so great on p3d. Is there a noticeable difference for the AMD gpu users out there? Curious if r9 290x would be worth it over the Gtx 970

Stutter when turning with dyn head movement enabled
Hello, Whenever I am using FSX Opus (3.51.1) and have DHM enabled, I get extreme stuttering whenever I turn the aircraft or change altitudes. All goes back to smooth when I disabled the DHM. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Thanks

VC Window Reflections
Just purchased the 737NGX, awesome product. Quick question though, is there a way to disable the window reflections in the VC and on the instruments for that matter? Thanks, Stephen

Dumb question, but if in the USA, can we purchase from the European sites? I'd really like a download purchase.

FSX Texture Shimmers - Please HELP!
I've followed all of the guides out there, trying to figure out how to get rid of the texture shimmering and occasional building texture flashes. I've ensured my settings for nvidia inspector match, and same for the fsx.cfg. My system: i5 4670k,, 16GB RAM, 760 GTX, WIN-7 64 BIT Latest NVIDIA drivers. Using FSX Opus and REX texture direct. I can't stop the shimmering no matter what AA I set in nvidia inspector. Specifically the auto-gen (shimmer/flash/blinking/etc) please help!!! I'm so close to having FSX run how I want it to. Thanks

FSX Add-Ons help
I'm getting back into the FSX arena, and am a little overwhelmed with the choices of add-ons. Can I get please get some recommendations for what I should purchase regarding good scenery/texture enhancements and a good live weather generator? I'm thinking REX + Activesky (not sure which version I should go for). My system is i5 4670k currently at 3.4ghz (can oc to 4.0ghz so far), 760 GTX, 8gb ram My goals are to have nice scenery additions above the default textures, with nice live weather with realistic layers and nice textures for the clouds, sky, etc in conjunction with the live weather. Thanks for your help
