Yeah I use ASN. The temperature was something like ISA +18. But I fly in those conditions all the time and this is the first time that this happens to me.

has anyone else noticed that it is impossible to turn off beacon light? The switch does not work once they are turned on the first time, Even after I turn off everything (inlcuding batteries) it keeps on... weird stuff. I also did a test flight tonight with half fuel and 4 passengers, and at FL300 it was climbing at the awesome rate of 200 ft/min. After I finally reached the cruise level of FL320 , I let the plane acelerate at climb thrust to about 310 knots and reduced N1 1%, it started slowing down very quicly. I hope this gets fixed

I did a lot of tests today with my FSX.Cfg. All can I say to those that replied here trying to help me is THANK YOU!. I can't believe the huge performance increase I got with your advice. Basically, I went from 6-12 FPS to 18-25 FPS. I can't believe I will finally be able to enjoy my 777!!! Again thank you superluminal, fabo and iron maiden!

I'll give that guide a try. I did once with Word Not Allowed's guide and it made my performance even worst. I'll try avsim guide. Hope it makes it all better since I'm basically playing a slide show right now..

I have this lines: Highmemfix=1 Usepools=0 Thank you. I really appreciate your help. I will try setting Afinnity mask to 3 and see what happens. About the computer, yes it's a sony Vaio laptop. It won't let me disable HT, it won't let me overclock anything, it won't let me update my Gpu driver (it has "switchable graphics") so overall sony isn't helping much. Sadly this 2 year old computer is all I can have for now as I'm just a student. Regards

I have noticed a strange behaviour of fsx in my task manager and I wanted to know if a experienced fsx user can help me. I have an Intel core i5-2410m cpu. it has two physical cores and HT on. It seems like fsx is only actively using cores 0 and 2. Im havng a really bad performance right now. In my fsx.cfg I have "affinitymask=4". Also I noticed that fsx is using only about 2.2 GB of VAS. But the preformance is very poor. My system config is: Intel core i5-2410M cpu AMD radeon 6630M 4GB Ram DDR3 Im getting less than 10 fps right now. Im very frustrated because I cant enjoy my 777. Please anyone help me!. I know my system has the minimum specs to run the 777 But there must be something that can be done to be at least over 10 fps. Regards

This is also happening to me. The exterior model is also dissapearing. But only when I do long hauls in real time. I wonder how did you solve this?

Yes. Always prior to start a flight I load the flight plan into AS2012. I create a text file, enter the data required there. After that I select the name (ie KATLOMDB) And change the file extension form .txt to .wx after that I cut the file and paste it into PMDG/WX sub folder. Resuming the story, I think the .wx is being correctly import to the FMC due to the fact that after I select to import the file appears something like W next to every waypoint.

I see. But that's not my answer either. My 777 haven't suffered a single "freeze" since I bought it the day it was released. In fact the only problems I have with it are the fuel predictions and the cold and dark panel state.

Thank you for your quick answer Kyle. Yeah I saw that thread when it was started. But I can't find the answer there. I mean, I'm not using any custom panel state (only short or long turn states) even tried with the default panel state. I have tried flying with clear skies. I have even tried to fly without any cargo or pax and it keeps happening. And the difference between EFOB and actual FOB after landing is way to high. I don't think my routes are wrong either...

I have never had problems importing weather to the fmc. However I'm getting high inaccuracies in fuel predictions even when winds aloft are loaded. Ie. KATL OMDB EFOB (pounds) Before pushback: 22 After takeoff: 21.2 At T/C: 19 At half route: 15 At STAR: 11 FOB after landing: 8.2 In other flights I have gotten the "insuficient fuel" message at half route Is this normal?

Hello. I have this system configuration on my laptop. Every single game I run on it is perfectly smooth with high/max setting. But it seems like FSX doesnt like my laptop at all... I have tried multimple tweaking guides with cero impact on fps. This is what i have: Windows 7 64 bit Intel Core i5-2410M 2,3Ghz (2.9 with boost) AMD Radeon 6630M 1024Mb 1600x900 screen 4Gb ram DDR3 ( thinking to add 4Gb more. Not sure if this will be a noticeable improvement thought) I am having a bad time setting up FSX and fsx.cfg to run the 777 properly. Im only getting around 12-18 fps on ground (default airport). and 20-30 in the air. Can you guys help me find a proper setting? If so. GOD BLESS YOU. Thank you.
