  1. The RAAF BBJ did a series of flights around the UAE this week, here are some shots of the simulated equivalent. P3Dv3 PMDG737NGX REX ASN FlyTampa Dubai SimBreeze Abu Dhabi Rob Graham Al Min Had air base. Pushback Singapore Out of Abu Dhabi Three Green Dubai Playing with the big boys Out of Dubai How can you not have P3D!? Downtown Turning the corner (my fav shot) Heading towards Min Had - Burj Al Arab in the distance Short Final Min Had airbase Darkness sets in as we wait for the next sector to Barcelona then Washington.
  2. Really nice!! I still find P3D is too "dark" when compared to real life. The sky colours, even with REX etc, still doesn't look right, especially when looking into the distance.
  3. Really nice! Do you use REX? If so what are your settings?
  4. Are you using same name as your order? Try deleting and re-entering on screen.
  5. Are you loading the PMDG in a default panel state? Try re-loading FSX and confirm if you still have the problem.
  6. Just confirming you have set 'C' under 'AUTOFEATHER (ARM/OFF)' ? Maybe try another unassigned key. You can also click Views, Instrument Panels and then select the FS2Crew main panel from there to confirm it's loading up.
  7. I have actually done a test in the sim and all my 1000ft callouts are happening based on the radio altitude. Anyone from PMDG care to confirm?
  8. All Can I please clarify, is the PMDG GPWS auto callout for 1000 feet is based on the radio altimeter or the barometric altitude? My company's FCOM states "Note: Callouts at 1000 feet and 500 feet are barometric based, and are triggered by the difference between barometric altitude and the landing field elevation. All other callouts in this list are based on radio altitude." I'm away from home so don't have access to the PMDG FCOM. Just wanting to answer a question for a colleague. Thank you in advance.
  9. Why did I post in this topic? I have the "same problem" as per original post: It appears only when I enter wind parameters for enroute waypoints in FMC. After the fifth ou sixth wind entry, both PFDs freeze… And never defreeze until full aircraft reload. FMC aren’t usable anymore, they do not freeze, but only the current page LEGS page and the next one are available. I don't see that the poster fixed it but thanks for trying to be helpful....
  10. Same Problem 737-700 in P3D - using latest version.

Thanks, I was aware of this but it is not 100% clear in the manual if you need to change the levels in the LEGS page at just one waypoint or for the remainder?

Hi Team Can I ask, with the PMDG 777, is there a way to get different wind levels to upload to the FMC? The ones I get now are : F330/290/270/250 from PFPX. Christian at PFPX says it's a question I should ask of PMDG. Thanks
  13. Hey Team Lovely and smooth flying experienced by this pilot with the SP1 and -300ER. Minor annoying issue; On my last 2 long-haul flights, >12 hours, I’m getting no braking on landing. No autobrake, no manual braking and no park brake. It works fine on take-off so I’m unsure why it’s happening? Anyone else had this happen? -Dean

Yes my GPU drivers are always installed correctly, as per NickNs guide. However, I can report success! There was a suggestion on the ASN forum to set your frames to unlimited. This fixed my problem. Strange thing is, I don't think it's ASN causing the freeze. I tried an 8 hour test with opusFSX and freezing still occurred. Went to frame rates unlimited & no more 777 freezes with either weather engine. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problem. Have done 2 5 hour flights and 2 12 hour flights with no freezes. Worked for me, might work for you? Just another random fix on this thread. Still don't understand how this would stop the freezes, maybe someone can explain? And for what it's worth, looks like the freeze time is consistently about 8 minutes, according to other users.
