I think, we might see an RTX 4080 Ti/Super early next year. This would probably have 20 GB and will supposedly/hopefully be priced similar to the current RTX 4080. I assume this relates to SU11 😉. LNM does not seem to be working with SU11 anymore. I keep my fingers crossed for a fix.

For me, LNM seems to start normally, but does not connect to MSFS properly, so that the position of the aircraft is not indicated on the map.

Hi, There are two different Navigraph data management programs. One for MSFS 2020 and one for everything else. I believe you need the second for P2ATC. https://navigraph.com/account/downloads/navdata Good luck. Klaus

Hi, Well, since nothing (empty Community folder ...) was helping, I reset the app (repair didn't help) and made sure that I pointed the install to the correct location of the previous MSFS installation and that fixed it with no downloads needed. Not much work but I had to figure it out first. Good luck for all who have the same issue.

I get this error message after Windows installed an update today. In the MS Store it says that MSFS is installed but it will not run. Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated? Hi Dave, First of all, your program is great and I really enjoy it. Thank you for all the hard work. I have the following problem. When I start P2A, everything is fine. The sounds from the airplane, the ATC communication, the chatter volume are all in good balance. Also the microphone works well and I can easily communicate with ATC. Then suddenly, after a few minutes, the volume for ATC and chatter drops to a rather low level. This is although in Windows volume mixer and Windows sound settings everything (output and input (i.e. mic)) looks the same as before. Also, now, my microphone input is almost never understood by ATC, mostly ignored. When I hit the Q key in P3D, then I am back to normal (but have no sound from the simulator). When I hit Q again, the problems are back. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you. Klaus

Hi Ramon, I still owe you feedback on your Carenado FA 50EX mod. I have to say that it just works perfectly. I have done a number of flights (short and long, low and high) and did not encounter any issues (apart from P3D HF1 crashing, but that is another topic 😉). I am still considering whether to modify the size of the GTN 750 such that I can see the radio and NAV frequencies but they are obviously available on the pedestal. Also, I have given myself a second independent GTN 750 as popup. I am mostly using this for ETA and DTA display (and to change the frequencies). As others have said, it would be great to have a second (independent) GTN 750 on the co-pilot side but I guess that is something that only Carenado could do. If I am not mistaken, one thing that I think is lost with the mod is the display of the numbers for the APU (N1, T5, ...). Maybe this would be something for the Info Page of the FMS. Anyway, you made the aircraft real fun to fly. Thank you very much. Klaus

It is correct that I found a workaround, but now P4AO complains (and I ignore it and do not save) that I have duplicates and turns the save button red when I close. I ignore this fact and then the sim will work fine. When I open P4AO again, P4AO tells me that it found new packages. So, I believe that there is still either a program issue or an issue with my setup. I sent you the backup via e-mail. Thank you for your consideration. Klaus P.S.: interestingly enough P4AO has stopped "mishandling" one of the Aerosoft airports. The one that is not shown as duplicate changes randomly. But the issue persists for 2 of the 3 airports and (Frankfurt and Cologne-Bonn) and this is also the status that is reflected in the backup I sent

well in P4AO I have under Discovery: Default D:\_Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons Orbx Main Library E:\Orbx Library\p3dv5 E P3D v5 Add-ons E:\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons I checked again: There are only add-on.xml files for 5 different add-ons under "Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons" I also checked the add-ons.cfg file in AppData/Roaming/Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\. It references exactly the 5 add-ons that have an add-on.xml for under Documents, so none of the 3 Aerosoft Airports. Hi, Thank you for your comments. I will try to answer them. I have Frankfurt, Cologne-Bonn and Berlin. But they all behave the same way. They are installed in a separate directory: E:\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons. This directory is included in the Discovery Paths. The duplicate entries under the "Packages" tab look completely identical and point to the correct locations in E:\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons The entries under the "Scenery" tab (6 = 3 x 2) look identical except for the layer numbers. Duplicates have sequential number (e.g. 292 and 293). With my "fix" method mentioned before (Remove Duplicates, save (although Duplicate Error! messages), Close (without saving with the automatically generated duplicates)) the duplicates do not show up in Prepar3D "Options->Add-ons". Hi, I have the same issue. I have 3 Aerosoft Mega Airports. When I reinstall them they show up as new packages ("New packages detected"). Since they are already there I then have double entries. When I delete the duplicates ("Remove Duplicates") everything looks good. When I then try to save, their are three error message ("Duplicate Error!"), one for each airport. The save has obviously worked anyway (I can run P3D successfully). But when I try to close it re-adds the duplicates and wants me to save again, which I don't do, since I already have a saved version which is O.K. Thank you for your help Klaus

Hi John, Thank you for your reply. Well, I think Maarten provided a facility to use MapBox, but although I am registered and have a token entered into the settings, it won't show anything. I am currently using LittleNavMap and am reasonably happy with it. But in SLX you can use a scenario, see it on the map and then launch P3D with it. That is not possible with LNM. Hi, I have been using SimLauncherX for many, many years. Now, since a few months ago, the map does not show up any more. Airports, VORs etc. are visible, but there is no map in the background, just a flat white background. I have tried a number of things: reinstalled completely, even tried MapBox, but I cannot fix it. Any ideas? Thank you. Klaus P.S.: I take it that Maarten has stopped supporting and developing SimLauncherX. That's really sad, since it is a great program.
